The food was good, it’s always good when I go there. The service was okay, The lady who was making my food got a little snappy with me. I partially blame myself because I misunderstood her but still I don’t think it was warranted getting snappy. I handled it in a way like I was working there and just let it go. So I’m giving the service 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve been there on other occasions and it was just fine. They do have a friendly staff. I noticed they know some customers by name so that’s a good thing!

Enjoyed this experience at Podnuh’s. Got the family spread for 4-6 which includes 1.5 lbs of meat, two large sides, bread, BBQ sauce and pickles/peppers/onions. Paid about $28 after tax. The food was enough for 4 or more meals which isn’t too bad for the price. Flavor of everything was good.

I like the fact that you serve your own sides. The great taste of baked beans, potato salad and gotta have those ribs. I’ve posted a review for Cou-yons wherein I mentioned Podnuh’s. You can also view rating. I think what would set Podnuh’s off is more smoke on meat especially on ribs and sausage. Also, provide ice cream and maybe Root beer floats. Thanks

The worst brisket I’ve ever had. My boyfriend said it’s dry as the dessert. They didn’t have any juice from it to give me. The potato salad will only be good if you’re a lover of mustard, because that’s all it tastes like. The baked beans are obviously Bush’s. Horrible food and service. $33 for 2 people and we left most of it on our plates because it’s not even worth taking home. We left still hungry. Not that it was much food for the price anyway. The staff are not friendly at all. The prices they show online are not correct. It’s more expensive. I see now why their peak hour was empty inside.

We were given gift certificates for the 2 meat plates so decided to take time out from Christmas shopping and redeem the certificates to try Podnuh’s BBQ in Monroe. The restaurant smells delicious when you walk in and the atmosphere is inviting… UNTIL you reach the counter. The server was extremely rude and when we showed her the certificates, she said I could not have the ribs even though the main sign clearly said that ribs can be included on the 2 meat plates. After a supervisor told her that we could have the ribs, she served us in a surly manner and charged my husband for a quarter chicken as a 3rd meat, instead of the difference in the 2 meat/ 3 meat plates.

These are the rudest, not wanting to work people that I have ever seen. The food is decent if you catch it not sitting out too long and gotten dry. I guess this is why they are still in business, because it sure isn’t the service.
90% of the interaction with them makes you feel like you are bothering them by trying to give them money. They are short, no smiles, and often times out right rude.
I quit going here. I’ll give my money to Danken Trail.

I ate at the West Monroe location. The bar b que sauce was cold, the beans weren’t very warm, and they were soupy. The brisket and the sausage was good. I won’t be back.

We had a group meeting and about half way through eating they turned the air off. And the building started getting hot. The service was not all that great this time. When we went in two of the three employees were on the cell phones and did not even greet us when we came in side. The pricing was good me and my wife get the three meat meal all the time. Our family was complaining about the building getting hot. I guess we were there to long. The portions of meat were small this time compared to all the other times
