Miss Gloria is wonderful and her staff is amazing! Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had, very tender and flavorful. Potato salad and Mac n cheese were very delicious as well. Miss Gloria is a sweetheart of a person; I had the pleasure of conversing with her about life and family, while my food was being prepared. Her golden tips on a happy marriage (just got married last year) will stay with me forever. I will be back on future trips to Pasadena!

The desserts are delicious . I enjoyed the BBQ plate and the fixings however I wasn’t blown away but I’d recommend this place overall. I had the peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, and a pecan pie they’re petite size so don’t judge! All of them smack.

I want to start off by saying, I had such a warm welcome by Miss Gloria! I felt right at home and she was so sweet. I ordered a peach cobbler and mixed berry pie to take to my aunt’s house. The pies were fresh and tasted so good! They have a great food menu as well that I’m excited to try the next time I come back! I’ve heard great things about everything they have so can’t wait until the next time.

Y’all… I can finally eat the greens!!! They make them with turkey instead of pork and I gobbled them things up. Almost went for more!
I got the chicken plate with 2 sides, mac and cheese and the greens. Comes with a slice of whole wheat bread. Chicken was a bit dry but the sauce helped it… until I ran out of the bbq sauce.
I got the hot and regular bbq sauces. The hot had a nice kick, very tangy. Both were sweet and thick. The cups weren’t filled up all the way, which would probably be helpful. They were about half full and I had used both cups to dip the chicken, so halfway through eating the chicken, I was out of sauce. This is where the greens came in handy, to dip the chicken in the juices or eat the chicken with the greens to add some moisture.
Mac and cheese was good. Nice creamy cheesr sauce and soft noodles.
I will definitely go back, just know to order a few extra sides of bbq sauce!

5 Star desserts! Grab any cobbler, you’ll love them all!! Sweet Potatoe, easy 5 star!! Ribs fall off the bone tender!! Collards well seasoned! Mac and cheese delicious! And the staff is as friendly as can be!

These ribs are hot!! I loved every minute of of it. The meat falls off the bone and the sauce is savory. The sides are okay. The bread was meh. The alluring scent of the cobblers wafts throughout the restaurant, I’ll be sure to try one out next time. Wish there was more parking.

Best barbeque I’ve ever eaten. As a Texan, it’s a shame I have to admit it’s from California. The place is take-out only, but it’s a great neighborhood so eating inside or on the hood of your car is no issue. Will definitely eat again the next time I’m in the area.
