I tried Mod India for the first time. The food and service were excellent. I got Pindi Chana Masala – so good, a 10. Who knew chickpeas in sauce could be so delicious! While I liked the other platters better, the Tandoori chicken was also good. It came out on a sizzling platter with grilled onions and peppers which were spot on. I was given a complimentary side of Makhani sauce which was also a 10. I would get that next time with chicken or shrimp instead of the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was a better version in my opinion.

Wonderful new Indian restaurant in the area. The service was attentive and prompt and the food was very tasty. Creamy thick mango lassi and tart herby lime soda. Perfectly crisp pakoras. Smoky jalfreezy and the korma was deliciously complex. If I could offer the chef one suggestion, I would take down the saltiness just a touch. Recommended.

Mod India is one of the most impressive restaurant we have experienced. Every dish was notably flavorful, with attention give to the balance of spices and freshness of ingredients. The menu offers an extensive range of vegetarian and non-veg options. The atmosphere is very inviting and staff demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommend this excellent restaurant!

Absolutely delicious! The balance of spices in every dish was excellent — flavorful without being overwhelming. Each plate was beautifully presented and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. The Mango Chicken Curry was the stand out and the bread basket is a must! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful, well-prepared Indian cuisine!

Very nice dining experience at this new establishment. Ethnic decor and cozy vibe is very welcoming and comfortable.
Love the selection of offerings, everything we ordered tasted great. Dhaba style paneer was delicious, next time will request to keep it light in oil use otherwise 10/10. Service was decent, lacking some attention to small details. I had to take a star away at the end of the meal we ordered dessert, the waiter didn’t take dirty dishes away before bringing out the dessert. Personally, I like when they clean out the table for dessert it shows they did hospitality homework.
I do recommend try out this place for great flavorful Indian food.

Just had a fantastic lunch at Mod India (Lafayette Hill). Not only was the food fresh and delicious, the service was friendly, warm, and lovely. We were given a complimentary appetizer (lagoon gobhi) which was fantastic. I should also point out that they have a kids menu to accommodate the little ones whose palates aren’t so advanced yet (my 5y/o was very relieved they had options like cheese pizza and chicken nuggets). This is a wonderful place and we will be back!

There are now three Indian restaurants in Lafayette Hill. All three are good. But that many is such a proximity to each other seems like too many. There was no one eating in the restaurant and ot didn’t seem like they had many takeout orders waiting to be picked up. But the korma was excellent. The vindaloo good. We will get takeout from here again. I hope they survive.
