Second time visiting this restaurant and was there to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The service alone is a million reasons to dine here. The vibe is very chill with the low lights. There’s multiple different areas to sit from the bar to the lounge to dining in the main room or a private room for large groups. We decided to order many small plates & bites so we could try multiple things. We started with the lobster shooters which they poured the curry over before serving. Followed by the cornbread which was so delicious. It had a sweetness to it that matched well with the pecan butter it was served with. We had the crab cakes with tomato soup which was my favorite!! The thai croquettes were also very delicious- a little spice with the flavor. And we had the platter for our entree. The garlic spread is soo good for the meat or potato. Everything was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our entire meal. The staff even delivered a complimentary dessert with a card signed by the staff. This was such a special touch. They also have a couple mocktails on their menu which is nice for people wanting to avoid drinking but still have a “cocktail”. Upon finishing each portion, they would take it to the back and box it up for us and at the end of our meal, our boxes were brought to the table. That was also a nice touch. And they are also really great with food allergies.

It was fine. The food was good but nothing to write home about. Our meal ended up over $300 and I wasn’t super impressed. I had a gift card to the COS location but they wouldn’t take it so that was a bummer. Overall, there are much more impressive restaurants in Denver.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Ambli! It was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. They make it a point to bring excellence into the details. I went with my husband and two friends for my birthday and they made a point to make it a special occasion.
We ordered every food item on the Happy Hour menu and we enjoyed every bite of it. Every. Bite.
Don’t sleep on the plantain cheesecake either!
My husband and I have been gushing about how pleasant our experience was for the past 20 minutes.
We can’t wait to go back.

From the moment we stepped into Ambli to when we left, we were attended to and taken care of. I made a reservation for a family birthday dinner but preferred their Happy Hour menu. The hostess still seated us in the main dining and offered the HH items. The feel of Ambli casual, yet elegant. Lots of light and space to gather. Our server, John was amazing! He offered suggestions and brought the items out a couple at a time so that we were able to pace ourselves. We tried lots of HH items like the pani puri puffed pastries with a lentil filling. The lobster shooters were fun and delish! The ahi tuna roll was melt in your mouth and the kebob was soft and flavorful. My favorite was the rellano tacos! Everything was so tasty and delicious! We’ll definitely be back to try more! At the end, they brought out a special birthday treat and even gave a birthday card to my husband, whose birthday we were celebrating! Overall a great experience. We were treated so well! We’ll be back for sure!

The fruit bowl isn’t on the menu (at least not yet). My wife wanted some fruit after the meal, like we were accustomed to in Greece. While the bowl you see is already half eaten (the fruit was extremely fresh and well prepared), it speaks to the “extra mile that this establishment is willing to go for service.

Water glasses were always full. The server circled round with a reasonable frequency. The silverware was replaced with each course. The tabletop was kept clean.

The menu is designed with plates to be shared.

This is a social restaurant. It’s a bit loud (even for the U.S.), but the food was very good and the service very strong.

Wow!! It had been a long time since we’d been to Ambli DTC, and we were impressed by its current menu. The setting was elegant and very quiet; and the service was top-notch…friendly and responsive. All of our dishes were excellent: Lobster shooters (even though they use dumplings instead of actual chunks of lobster like in the good old days), Thai croquettes, Spicy Ambli-style paella (a good number of clams, shrimp and mussels), Cilantro Garlic Shrimp & Polenta, Corn Chowder Scallops, and the Dulce de leche flan. The wine list is quite pricy, but the selection is impressive.

The food is so amazing, dishes are creative, they’re served perfectly cooked, Service is amazing, we love this place dearly. One of my favorite restaurants and all of Denver. Can’t believe they haven’t been featured in Eater yet… don’t miss this one. Rotating menu, amazing flavors.

Great dining experience with wonderful food and ambience. We ordered the winter feast, and couldn’t eat all of the main course. Asked staff to box it up and didn’t get it at end of the meal. We were pleasantly full and forgot to ask, but considering we did ask for it to be boxed at the end of the course, it should be done by staff. Everything else was delicious and fun experience to engage in.

Chef is very creative with the fusion dishes. We opted for Chefs Selection which is bit pricey but worth every penny. He started is off with lobster shot which is a lobster pakoda in thai coconut curry. That was creative. Although nitpick, the size of the pakoda could be smaller. Many dishes arrived that looked like Indian appetizers but had a twist. Like what I thought as aloo tikki was shredded beef with corn batter on it in a mint and tamarind mole. Aloo papadi chat had papadi with ahi tuna and avacado on it which feels weird at first but really works with sauce, pani poori had poori with ceviche and bhel mix which again feels weird but works. Pani was replaced with tamarind sauce to hide the fishy taste. I can’t remember the name of the dish that had cubes of beef and pine nuts with another mole base but let me tell you, that beef was cooked to perfection and one of the best preparations I have had. I thought mango lassi would be just the same old but even that had a twist. I must say Chef knows how to pair foods from various cuisine to build a completely unexpected dish. Must try if you are in Denver.
Beautiful ambience and very friendly staff that really listens to you, understands all your allergy constraints and collaborates with chef to still get you a taste of his mastery.
Can’t recommend enough.
