In 1968, Frank and Filomena Caretti moved to America from Monte de Procida, Italy, a small town just outside Naples, to start a family in the land of opportunity. Caretti’s pizza was opened in 1979 serving the homemade recipes they brought with them from their hometown. Quality ingredients and commitment to authentic Italian cuisine has been our focus for over four decades. Our recipes are our legacy. Our traditions are our meals spent squeezed around the small kitchen where Nonna Filomena still hosts family dinners. Our hope is that when you’re here, you feel like a part of that tradition. I so enjoyed my previous visit, I brought my SIL and niece to experience Angelo and Ryan’s excellent service. Like the first visit, the food was hot and served promptly. Angelo took our order and got it to the kitchen quickly. SIL not only ate lunch there, she ordered her supper to go. Again, Grazie. Will return the next time I’m in Chambersburg. (I traveled an hour to have this experience with my family).

I HIGHLY recommend Caretti’s Pizza and Ristorante!
Everything on the menu looks delicious! (I hope to try everything.) The atmosphere is fantastic! The staff are extremely friendly!
We ordered Meatlover and White Chicken Pizzas. Delicious! The Meatlover – the crust is very tasty, the sauce is perfectly seasoned, the toppings are an excellent balance and superb, the cheese is the perfect blend for Pizza. The White Chicken – the crust is tasty, the White sauce is not overpowering and is delicious, the chicken is well cooked but not dry, and the cheese is wonderful!
I have eaten a lot of Pizza! Caretti’s is in the top three – Home Made, Papa Murphy’s Take and Bake (There isn’t one nearby.), and Caretti’s.
It is quite a distance from home, but it is well worth the drive.

I prefer my pizza without politics. Recently saw their social media engaging in the comments section of the local propaganda radio station. People on both sides buy pizza. No thanks.

recommend this . With so many restaurants and places these days skimping on quality and service, while the prices keep going up, Caretti’s is def worth your money!! Affordable price and consistent taste and quality! Definitely get urself here: eat in or carry out. Very delicious and quick. I stopped at lunchtime. I love the locally owned restaurants bec they care about the community and aim to please their customers. Big places do not overall, and it usually shows. Caretti’s serves real food, made right there!

The owner called and harassed a place of business because one of its employees ACCIDENTALLY called the other Caretti’s first to place an order (which she realized before she even got done placing her order for a single sandwich). Upon attempting to correct their mistake and calling this Caretti’s, the owner yelled at the employee of said business until they hung up.
And also when I ate there the food was just okay.
Edit: The owner replied and tried to shift blame to someone else like he likes to do and claim I am talking about the other Caretti’s. I am talking about the Caretti’s on Philadelphia Avenue beside McDonald’s. The one with the Silly Italian FIAT parked outside. I’ll even attach a picture for him of the one I mean.
This owner called and yelled at school employees for 20 minutes in a baby rage over one employee accidentally calling the wrong number one time and claimed how dare they call the other Caretti’s because he “Gives money to this school every year”. Even if it wasn’t an accident, which it was, the employees of that school can eat wherever they want without being harassed by an insecure store owner.

Wow. Don’t go here unless you’re hungry!!! The portions were huge. Between eating in and what we took home, my wife and I got three meals. They also had a 28 inch pizza. If you’re having a party, get your pizza here!!

Good food, and I have no complaints at all about the service. They lost a star, though, because of the tvs in the dining room. Not just one but several, and the sound was on, on _all_ of them! So we were forced to listen to some game or other in which we had absolutely no interest…
Also, everyplace else that I have ever gotten a stromboli has given you a bit of sauce to go along with it, only charging you for additional “extra” sauce. We were asked when we placed our order “Sauce on the side?”, to which we both replied in the affirmative. When we got the bill, we found that we had both been charged for “extra sauce”, which was not expected!
