Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First Visit didn’t disappoint!
Greeted by friendly people who helped my decision easy. Enjoyed the meal in a clean spacious dining area. Plenty of parking and clean facilities. Fat food restaurant with a diner’s atmosphere. Hopefully you will have a similar experience. Enjoy!

Went to try the chicken tender combo tonight. Kamila was very kind & sweet. The chicken tenders are very juicy & tender. The fries were okay. I enjoyed the spicy ketchup, definitely recommend trying it with your fries. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because my fries got cold pretty quickly from leaving the restaurant & driving 3 mins to get home & the tenders could use some seasoning, they’re pretty bland without the dipping sauce unfortunately. Other than that, its a nice spot for a quick bite.

The service and experience was 10/10.
The server greeted us with a smile and was very patient in answering all of our questions. This was my first time eating at whataburger and I’ll be back. The jalapeño and cheddar burger was delicious. We also got our food very fast!

Always has a empty parking lot. However, the teenagers aren’t capable of getting orders ready on time STILL. Why should I wait over 10 minutes for a mobile order placed ahead of time? And the food is never that great. Theres a reason that hardly any people are ever here.

Squeeky clean, including the bathroom. Nice friendly service. They bring the food to your table. My son said his shake was very good. Burger meat is just average. Nice toasty bun. French fries average. The fountain coke was weak. I liked the jalapeno ketchup for the fries. It cost 25 for just two regular meals.

My experience was good. My food was fresh, the only bad thing I would say is that I ordered the pepper sauce, they told me it was in the bag. I get way home and it is not in the bag instead of taking their word for it I should’ve double checked myself, considering a pay 50 Cent for it but other than that, it was good.

I know it’s only been open a few weeks, so some things are just growing pains, like the loud crew members eating in the dining room after their shift.
I ordered a #5 with an extra patty and no bun for my son who has Celiac’s. They sent out a single patty with no bacon. I had to go ask for the second patty, which costs a ridiculous $3.49 and the bacon. Stood up front for two minutes while my food got cold. I ordered a patty melt for myself and it was really good, but I must say I was disappointed to find out by looking at the app later that I could have added lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc…
I saw all sorts of signage promoting the Dr. Pepper shake and that’s my daughter’s favorite soda. I was told when we tried to order it that they didn’t have the syrup to make it… Sounds a like McDonald’s and the broken shake machine, doesn’t it?
Overall it’s a little expensive, but the food is good, so I gave it 4/5 stars

We’ve eaten at several Whataburgers, but this is the first one that charged us 5 times for cheese for each patty on our burgers (husband had triple meat and I had double). Other than that, we had our normal great experience along with fantastic burgers.
