Bin 77 is always a go-to for us. Their weekday happy hour starts at 11am with $6 glasses of house wine, select cocktails (including a French 75), and beers. We usually split a few sharables, but honestly everything on the menu is good. The service is always amazing and we love the staff, they make you feel welcome every time. Some evenings there’s live music on the patio, which is easily one of the best patio vibes in Baton Rouge. Great spot for lunch, happy hour, or a laid-back night out.

Everyone in the group enjoyed their food. The waiter was very helpful and attentive. Loved the building and decor. The area of town was also good. I did have a lobster roll (context: i have never had one before) Texture of bread and presentation was excellent. It did taste good but It just wasnt what I was expecting. House salad was good, dressing on it was good.

Outstanding Service and Cocktails from Paul at BIN 77!
We came to BIN 77 because of the great reviews, and Paul absolutely lived up to the hype! He was not only our server but also the bartender — and he made the most perfect French 75 and Old Fashioned, both featured on their happy hour menu.
His food recommendations were spot on. Instead of the blackened shrimp, he suggested the salt and pepper shrimp for the Thai Salad — and it was a game changer. Everything from drinks to service to food was top-tier.
If you’re in Baton Rouge, BIN 77 should be at the top of your list — and ask for Paul!

Everything was so perfect. Great atmosphere, great lighting. We sat at the bar (which was a furst for me.) Our server (I’m assuming she was the lead bartender, and if shes not then she should be) was very nice and even though she was slammed she still made it a point to stop and check in on us. She wasn’t rushing either. Her focus was on us. I’m not really a big drinker but one of my favorite drinks is peach crown and sweet tea. It wasnt on the menu, but she wasnt even phased! She said “we have crown, how’s about I add in some peach for you?” And when I tell you she nailed it.. she nailed it! The food!! Oh my god the food! We got the frites and those steaks were so perfect! Chef, I am so sorry I even picked up my knife as it was most definitely not needed! Those steaks cut like butter with a fork. We are in our 40s and we are from New Orleans and those were the best steaks both of us have ever had. I got the parmesan truffle fries, and he got the sea salt fries and they were fantastic! Our appetizer was grilled shrimp and it was also great! The shrimp were generously sized and seasoned to perfection! For dessert we got the bread pudding. And I’ll say it again (only because I know she doesnt read reviews, and I’ll never tell her..) my best friend is a 5 star pastry chef and yall’s was actually better than hers! I didnt even know that was possible! I wish I knew everyone’s name who was behind the bar, I would gladly shout you ladies out! I also wish we could leave more than just 5 stars. I was very impressed and I can’t wait until we go again! Thanks for making our Valentine date night so special! ~~ Niki & Michael

Great atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or business meeting. Wide selection of wines and a great happy hour drink menu. The food was fresh and delicious!! Striped bass, baked Brie and gnocchi were all top notch.

Edit: We come here often when we just want a nice drink and good atmosphere. We got to experience their restaurant week menu and the stuffed red snapper was one of the best meals I’ve ever experienced. Absolutely no notes!! I was dreaming of that dish later in the night. Great service everytime as well!

We arrived at 6:30pm with a table of 8, we had called ahead to reserve an inside table. This restaurant has inside seating & outside covered. Outside is where a small band was playing.
Erin was our waitress & got us waters, drinks, & took our appetizer orders. Brussel sprouts, crab cakes, Creole devils on horseback, & smoked brie – all delicious.
We ordered 3 smoked prime ribs, 1 roasted chicken, 1 steak frites, & 3 ordered the Sea Bass nightly special. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the fish that delayed our dinner, but they did serve everything hot and fresh. And offered us 2 free desserts for being understanding. We left around 9pm.
NOTE – be very careful where you park! One in our group was booted & it’s an on demand $200 fine to have it removed, delaying our night even more. The no parking sign was small & facing the wrong way! TRAP!

Great upscale/casual place to hangout. Great patio for dining Al fresco.
Love the atmosphere… inside bar area is cool and inviting, while the outside “sidebar” is a very nice place to hangout.
Staff is very friendly and helpful with dining or wine selections. The food is very good and they have a fantastic wine selection that changes quarterly.

Do not come here with the expectation of big portions – it is a tapas bar, and a good one. The flavors and flavor combinations are on point. The drinks were also outstanding. The space inside and out as well as the choice of music are tasteful without being overwhelming.
