We called in our order and she repeated it. To only get home and our order was wrong. The food was over cooked and cold. We live only 3 minutes away.

Y’all need to update your menu online and flyers. I called in for 10 hot wings and when I got there thinking of price I was going to pay it turned out they were $17.95 which is just ridiculous. No where have I ever paid this much . I almost left them there and definitely want purchase again. I asked for hot wings and they didn’t even have any sauce on them . I do love most of your food but I know you can do better on pricing wings. Every where else pays the same thing you do for wings and the price is between 10-12$ for 10 wings .

We ordered online Sunday, June 29. 2025 and paid for our order online went all the way to the restaurant to pick our order up. They were closed so we left empty-handed and now have to wait. Three whole days to receive our money back. This is ridiculous. They should have closed down the app where people cannot order if they were closed will not be going back.

Updating my 3 star review from 3 years ago to a 5 star review now in 2024! We have been in probably a dozen times since new ownership has taken over and can not say enough good things about the food, service, and atmosphere. Very personable staff who welcome you in, remember you, and serve you with a great attitude. The food is always prepared fresh but quickly and is consistently good. Seafood, beef, chicken, and a great kids menu. Kudos to the new owners for righting this ship and giving us another lunch and dinner option in Stony Point!

Amazing staff overall. Friendly faces when you walk in the front door. Waitresses go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. The food is amazing and cooked fresh. The place is very clean. The owners did an amazing job opening this place back up in our little town!

Captain’s Galley has recently acquired new owners, and I must say that the food and service are much better now. I ordered popcorn shrimp, coleslaw, and fried okra. The shrimp and okra were fried to perfection , and the coleslaw was the best I have eaten in a long time. The fried foods had no greasy taste which is a plus. The hush puppies were tasty and delicious and were not greasy. The hostess escorted us to our table, and the waitress arrived quickly to take our orders. After we began the meal, she checked back with us many times to see if we needed anything. In addition to being proficient, the waitress was very friendly and also answered all questions we asked about our food. I am very pleased that this restaurant has reopened. This was a very pleasant dining experience, and I definitely will be returning.

We enjoy this place so much. You can’t ask for better food at a fair price. The staff is exceptional. So friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful decorated also, clean and neat. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have a wonderful meal.

I was excited when I heard that Captain Galley was opening back up under new management. When I went I was not disappointed and have continued going. The owners take great efforts in making sure their customers are first and foremost in both the dining in and carry out. I know this as I use both. The food is fresh and made to order. The staff is courteous and the restaurant is clean. Seafood is my favorite type of food and we are excited to have them as we were having to drive for miles to eat good seafood.

I have both dined and gotten take out at Captains Galley’s and I have 0 complaints. The food is always high quality and delicious. The service in both the to go area and dining area of the establishment is spectacular. This place has a very family friendly environment. I will be coming back anytime I get a chance. 10/10 would recommend!
