I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on an egg bagel. It was perfect, delicious and exactly what I ordered. Really good. I got a small cup of coffee which was included with my sandwich- awesome.
They have a great variety of everything, not just breakfast but lunch items too.
The only semi-negative part of my experience was that when I first walked in I was ignored for a few minutes. No one greeted me, or even made eye contact. A simple, “I’ll be with you in a moment” would’ve been great and made a better first impression. There was one person ordering ahead of me, but otherwise it wasn’t insanely busy. It won’t deter me from trying them again, but just a suggestion to at the very least acknowledge your customers existence (even if busy) when they’re waiting to order, because I was half tempted to just leave. They’re new so I’m sure the kinks will be worked out. When I did interact with the employees they were all very nice.
OTHERWISE it was a good experience. And I’d recommend them.
The spot: Good location right off 58 before the traffic circle. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. The inside was spotless. Very clean and organized. The refrigerated cases were clean and the food looked fresh.
The staff: Despite being very busy, they were attentive and moved quickly.
The food: BEC on a roll, SEC on an egg bagel, and a French toast bagel with cream cheese and jelly. The egg sandwiches were delicious. I got the SEC on the bagel and I do think these bagels are kettle cooked, which is a massive plus. Nice blistered outside with a soft inside. My daughter loved the French toast bagel.
Overall, I highly recommend this spot and it will be my go to in Riverhead from now on.
The atmosphere is clean, modern, and clearly designed with care. Even though it’s brand new, it’s already busy, and the staff couldn’t be nicer, super friendly and helpful every time I’ve been in.
Food-wise, everything we’ve tried has been great.
The egg everything bagel with cream cheese had that crisp crust and chewy inside.
The BEC platter was spot-on, I asked for the bacon well done and it came out perfect, with nicely seasoned potatoes on the side.
Coffee is self-serve (which I prefer), and they’ve got plenty of creamers but I take mine black.
For lunch, we’ve had the chicken salad with cranberries, apples, and walnuts in a lettuce wrap, fresh and exactly as delicious as it sounds.
They’ve got all the classic sandwiches plus a lineup of creative sandwiches with fun names.
The Fat Tony and the Little Galamad were both flavorful and came with a side salad.
Honestly, the sandwich names are half the fun, it makes trying new ones even better. Portions are generous too.
Overall, great people, great bagels, and creative sandwiches that make it easy to stop in for breakfast or lunch, or order online. Definitely worth checking out.
