Went out of my pizza confort zone to try something different. The California Veggie pizza was exactly what I was looking for. It had a light crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese, and lots of fresh veggie toppings. It was wonderful. One pizza was enough for me, but may not be enough for those with heartier appetites. I also tried some Chicken Tequila Fettuccine from my son’s plate, and also the Mexican Street Corn appetizer. Both were delicious.

We usually enjoy CPK and have good time there. This review is for our experience with this particular visit.
Firstly, I would like to say the staffs were friendly and the restaurant environment was enjoyable.
However, the food was a disappointment with this visit. We ordered the new crush chinese dumpling salad, wild mushroom pizza, and chicken tequila fettuccine pasta. No issue with the chicken tequila fettuccine. It was within expectation. However, the wild mushroom pizza was not in line with our past experiences of this pizza. The crust was hard. The pizza seems not freshly made but quickly warmed up from frozen. That should not be the case from a pizza restaurant. The worst of all, the new crush chinese dumpling salad. It should be removed from CPK’s menu completely. Typically you look for a salad to be refresh, healthy, and tasty. That salad was completely opposite. The salad was heavy, salty, and spicy. The fried dumpling was nasty, inside filing was cold like straight from refrigerator. Strangely, we were thankful the portion of this salad was surprisingly small for full size order but such a waste of money since it was so bad.

I don’t usually leave feedback, but I would like to sincerely thank the manager, Mara Hulsy. Last week, I placed a to-go order and one of the dishes lacked flavor. I called the restaurant, and Mara promptly offered a refund and told us there was no need to return the food.
A few days later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten card from her. That extra step truly stood out to me. It showed that she genuinely values customer feedback and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Thank you, Mara, for your professionalism and care. You are the best manager I have ever encountered!

Really good food with a nice seating area and service. I got the lunch pasta for $12 which came with a pasta and a soup or salad. The meal was filling and cheap. We also got their artichoke and spinach dip as an appetizer.

We came during CPK’s happy hour from 3 to 6 pm. (weekdays) for late lunch. Lettuce wrap with chicken appetizer was quite delicious, and they are 1/2 the price during happy hours. Beer and 7″ pizza (pepperoni) is a good deal at $9, and pizza is delicious and filling. Kung Pao Spaghetti was
wonderfully flavorful and savory with that extra spicy kick to it. The service was great, and prices are affordable during the happy hours.

Nice chain to get a pizza. Getting a bit pricey though. I like their thin crust pizzas, I think they could use a little more crunch though on the crust. Pizzas are personal sized or maybe I’m just a fatty lol. Inside is clean and modern. They also have a nice, covered side patio. Service is good. Friendly staff. The parking in the shoppes is always crowded on the weekends but you find a spot eventually.

This CPK location is great. I like the way this location’s seating is set up. it’s very bright and welcoming. This was our first time visiting this Chino hills CPK spot and it won’t be our last. Aubrey was awesome. She was very helpful and interactive during the entire visit. she was attentive and answered all the questions which had to do with menu options and what was new. Thank you Aubrey. I could definitely tell this place is busy and that’s always a plus. The avocado club egg rolls were undercooked. I’m not saying that the chicken itself was undercooked, but more of the outer wonton wrap. The AC egg rolls were white and not with the crispy, brown delicious look. Plus, they were a little underfilled. missing avocado and more of its delish filling. I chose not to bring it up to the server.

Practically a regular at this place. The atmosphere is great, the good is great, and most importantly the service is great. My 6 year old son says “give them 100 stars!” If your server is Elysse you’re especially in luck. She is great with talking to kids, is prompt, and is great with making a customer feel welcome and happy. As a restauraunt and hospitality management major in college, I can tell Elysse knows her stuff! Thank you to the CPK team.

I love California Pizza Kitchen. CPK is hands down one of the best places for delicious pizza, with amazing flavors and a perfect crust that keeps you coming back for more. What makes it even better is that you can get a 20% discount by purchasing gift cards at Costco, making it a fantastic deal for pizza lovers. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the location is super convenient with easy access, and there are plenty of great spots nearby for coffee or dessert after your meal. While there might be a bit of a wait on weekends, it’s absolutely worth it—highly recommended!
