We went to Top Dawg a few years ago. Disappointed didn’t describe it. Loud, crowded, took forever to order, get our drinks, get our food. It was mediocre food at best. We said never again. We have been trying to find another good local hot dog place. I was at the BAC, and said let’s try it again. It’s a Monday, maybe it will be better. It felt like a different place!! Wasn’t overly crowded, much more quiet. We could actually hear each other speaking!! Waitress brought our drinks right away. Food came out quickly and was DELICIOUS!! He got 2 Chicago style hot dogs, I got a Chili cheese dog and we shared a sweet potato tater tots. We were NOT disappointed. I go to the BAC every day, I will certainly be back regularly. We will also highly recommend to others. So glad we decided to give it another try. We did mention this to the waitress who stated that the management has been working to turn things around. VERY WELL DONE! Your efforts paid off!

Amazing food, portions are huge!! We had the fried pickles. My husband has 2 chilli dogs and potato salad. I had a BLT on a croissant and onion rings. So.much.bacon! Great little pub, great service( thank you Hailey!!) Awesome food!! Made a wonderful date day lunch stop!!

Every other Saturday is karaoke night apparently. We end up there on the wrong Saturday to say the least. Let’s just say the volume gave me opening scenes of back to the future. Other than that we enjoyed the food. Literally the hottest French fries I’ve ever experienced. Would definitely go back. Maybe not a Saturday though.

The onion rings were awesome. The right crunch and they stayed hot for my meal. I do hate it so when onion rings get cold too fast. The hot dogs reminded me of the ones we have at The Varsity in Atlanta, Ga. They have a similar texture in that they are softer than the brats and smokes sausage I prefer. Next time, I will try their brat. The location and environment are lovely, and it feels like a good place to bring friends for a drink, catch a game, and hang out for a bit

I’ve been twice since moving back to Blue Ridge recently. Both times on a Sunday. The onion rings are great. The mushroom Swiss burger is awesome. I like the hot dogs, but the bun is to big and bready for me. No matter, I’ll be back for more burgers and to try other items as well. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Good draft selection as well.

Stopped in for dinner, something different for a change, and close to home. I’ve been here many times, first time getting the hot dog, Chicago dog and Mutt dog, sweet potato tots and onion rings – everything was awesome. Those sweet potato tots are really good. Also had the trad wings. Top Dawg sauce, reminds me of a sweet bourbon sauce. Very good and perfectly cooked. Excellent meal with excellent beers from a good selection.

Great prices and nice portion sizes. The service was also great. The food was okay but all the fried food was too greasy for me and the fried pickles and fried boneless wings basically tasted the same. My friend enjoyed the Hawaiian Hotdog.

Group of 7 for a birthday lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed the sesame ginger traditional wings. The only negative was the nachos. The chips were VERY stale. Everything else on the nachos was fine, but the chips were terrible. We usually always like the food here so we will be back. In fact, I’ll try the nachos again and see if there’s an improvement. I’ll update the review then.

Not quite sure where to start not a big fan of my experience here today. Stopped by for lunch, there was only one waitress who was running around working like crazy and trying to cover the whole business so I know she was overwhelmed and overloaded, which is probably why they should have two servers. Took 23 minutes to refill my tea that had been finished well before our food got to the table, ordered wings for two people, one person never got them at all, and then my wings came out the wrong flavor and were cold, less than room temperature and closer to fresh out of the fridge temperature, had to spit my food out. Then I had politely, patiently and kindly asked for ketchup numerous times but by the time the one waitress finally brought it to the table the fries and chips were all cold and I couldn’t actually enjoy my sides because it took well over 20+ minutes to bring ketchup out. Disappointed and frustrated with my dining experience here today and then another family that was near our table had half of their orders wrong.
