If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would!
My husband and I came here about a month ago to celebrate our 20-year dating anniversary. I called earlier that day to make a reservation, and from the very first phone call, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. They even asked if we were celebrating something special, which made it feel personal right away.
When we arrived, we were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and so helpful in guiding me through the menu. We started with wine/espresso martinis (the BEST EVER), an appetizer that was fantastic (fried risottoballs), followed by main courses that were just as delicious. Of course, we couldn’t resist dessert!
When dessert arrived, they had written “Happy Anniversary!” on the plate — such a thoughtful touch. Then, to top it all off, when the check came, they told us dessert was on the house. They packed up our leftovers, included a complimentary loaf of garlic bread, and even added biscotti to take home!
I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The food was amazing, but the service and attention to detail made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend for date night or any special (or not-so-special) occasion!

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner last night. I enjoyed steak and he ate a pasta dish. The food was prepared and cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and professional. The atmosphere is always pleasing. Bravo to the owner and staff

I’ve been wanting to try this place for YEARS. I finally went recently with my family and I was not disappointed. We started off with bread and butter which was good but the bread was a little dry. Then for our appetizers, we had arancini (not sure), calamari and caesar salad. The calamari was so good, I couldn’t stop eating it. Then for the entrees, I got the rigatoni vodka pasta with shrimp and my family got some shrimp pasta (i forgot the name) and a steak. We all liked our food. The shrimp in my pasta was cut into small pieces which is perfect because I don’t like big pieces of shrimp. The pasta was so good.
The service was good. Our server was very polite and attentive. The restaurant was completely full but we still had quick service.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely come here again.

Excellent food, polite staff and excellent atmosphere. Reasonably priced. This is a wonderful 0lace for a date night. There is background noise but that is because they are busy and in my book, the background noise is wonderful. Best valentines day dinner so far. Definitely returning.

Came here for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and cannot say enough about what an all around perfect experience we had at Salute. The food was delicious, our waitress was very attentive and everything came out quickly. Salute provided us with an anniversary dessert as well which completely made our night!!

Not sure what we enjoyed more- the food or the staff! We were immediately greeted with a smiling face, a woman who made great conversation with our toddler and had her pick out some crayons and a coloring page. Our waitress Angelica was fantastic! She was kind, quick, and made great conversation with both us and our daughter. She truly made the experience, and our Mother’s Day dinner a great one! THE FOOD was so fresh and so delicious! We had the bread & smoked tomato butter, spicy calamari, pink vodka chicken parm, and the tiramisu. Everything was phenomenal!! I think we found our new favorite restaurant!

Came here earlier this evening with a long time friend I haven’t seen in years. We had the pleasure of having Angelica as our server and she was phenomenal, to put it lightly. From her wonderful recommendations to the excellent service – she made sure we had everything we needed and then some! She even overheard me wishing my friend a happy belated birthday and brought out a brownie sundae for her – she was so kind, attentive and personable! I’ve been to the Hartford location plenty of times but this was our first time at the Rocky Hill location and they didn’t disappoint! Lovely energy all around!! Also, try the sweet potato ravioli, you will NOT regret it ❤️ I don’t live in CT anymore, I was just in town visiting but this was the perfect ending to my trip!!
