This unassuming establishment turned out to be exactly what this Southside trio needed. We enjoyed an array of their finest crafted concoctions. The atmosphere was warm and casual. I’m looking forward to trying the Cinnamon Girl. We had a sampling of their food as well. The next time we will bring a bigger appetite. I would like to try their hamburgers and would suggest you do the same.

I love enjoying beer and a good meal. I’ve been a patron of HTH for years. However, recently attended brunch there for the bears game and was very underwhelmed. I ordered the steak and eggs and the quality left a lot to be desired. The eggs tasted chalky and were lukewarm. The steak…. well i won’t order it again. Just a heads up because it’s 25 dollars so just be aware before you make that selection. My wife ordered the saddle cakes which came with eggs/sausage/bacon. (She enjoyed the saddle cakes but didn’t care for the bacon or eggs)

However we did order the wings and they were perfection!

I wish I could give more stars but the food wasn’t cooked ! We got a chicken salad, salmon dinner and gumbo. As we got towards the end of the salad i found a piece of chicken not cooked. Unfortunately we had already eaten most of it. I returned the rest to the kitchen with the raw chicken expecting a manager to come apologize but got no acknowledgment. Then the salmon was cooked on the outer edges but not cooked enough as we got to the center. The server apologized as she brought the bill and took off the salad and a glass of wine. I appreciated they at least took stuff off the bill but they need to monitor who is cooking in the kitchen. I ended up sick within a few hours . Its unfortunate because the atmosphere is great. And the food( stuff that WAS cooked ) was very good.

Horse Thief Hollow on 104th & Western is a great place for locals and people looking for good food and it’s also a Brewery for craft beers. . I enjoyed the Cocktails. I’m trying to go through the menu but the Expresso Martini, Blood Orange Margarita, Spiced Rum Old Fashioned, They had the Neil’s Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned which was the best Old Fashioned that I ever had anywhere! The Buffalo wings were good. Old Man Tom’s Gumbo was great. (also bit on the spicy side) The Backyard Grilled Angus perfect. I was overall impressed by the food and ambience. Oh yeah, the Beignets were tastier than Nawlins.

We were in the Beverly neighborhood on the south side and decided to stop in for dinner. I’m so glad we did!
First impressions – the restaurant is absolutely charming. It has plenty of seating, a welcoming bar area, and an open-concept layout that feels bright and inviting. The service was excellent from start to finish.
The beer selection is incredible, with a huge variety of craft brews made in-house. The “Little Wind” Pilsner is an award-winning standout and a must-try. I highly recommend ordering a flight so you can sample several of their creations.
For appetizers, the Reuben egg rolls were unique and absolutely delicious, and the buffalo shrimp was another winner. For dinner, we enjoyed the flat iron steak and the smashburger—both fantastic. And don’t skip the sweet potato fries; they’re an absolute must!
We finished with a flourless chocolate cake for dessert, which was rich, decadent, and gluten-free.
This restaurant is truly a gem. Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and answered every question we had about the food and drinks. The beef tenderloin salad with fried goat cheese and balsamic was absolutely out of this world. The pretzels with cheese sauce is not a traditional pretzel and cheese you would expect from any bar… it is a posh almost sour dough pretzel bite with the most flavorful cheese sauce with just the right amount of heat. Cheese burger with bacon and bacon jam… another delicious choice. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing food and drink experience. Kid friendly.

The food was excellent. Service friendly, they were a little overwhelmed by the midday crowd, but to be fair there was a band playing. Definitely coming back
