Took my family to Cattlemen’s based off of recommendations from coworkers.
Pros:
The atmosphere was amazing. My wife loved their salad bar. And our server Kayden (Cayden? I probably butchered that name sorry dude) was excellent. Parking was also pretty spacious though I would recommend a reservation on peak days like Friday evening.
Cons:
Only real issue was that my steak wasn’t fully cooked. I did ask for my Texas Ribeye medium rare but there was still transparent myoglobin throughout. The seasoning was really good though so I didn’t cause a fuss. And I know some steakhouses have different techniques and equipment in BOH. Still, that was a pretty rare steak bordering on barely cooked. My wife also wasn’t a fan of the pepper steak.
Overall more pros than cons so we will be returning and ordering different items to give them another shot. Just kind of meh this go around

Ate early in the week with a few family members. Atmosphere is nice, comfy and rustic. Food was just “ok”, especially for the price. For what the meals cost I would have assumed the food would be excellent but it was disappointing. Salad bar was decent and seemed fresh. The chicken fried steak seemed like it was prepped in old oil or something. Loaded baked potato comes with a little cheese, sour cream and dried bacon bits out of a jar, not what I expected at a place like this. Sandwich’s the kids had were greasy. Might try again just to see if the night was a one off but a little hesitant due to cost. Everyone was friendly and service was a bit slow but decent.

We ordered 2 of the same things for pick up as parts of dinner at home didn’t turn out the way they were supposed to… Called to order mashed potatoes, which were VERY dry and flavorless, white gravy that was lacking any sort of seasoning (which I thought came with the potatoes but was accidentally ordered as “sides”, although I’m not 100% sure why if its advertised as coming WITH??) , and 2 orders of the apple cobbler, also zero flavor (with cheap vanilla ice cream on the side).
Online, the total is $31.90… Calling in for pick up, which is usually cheaper, it was $38.34 without the tip. Unfortunately, we did not ask for a receipt and I don’t remember if we were offered one.
I’m just struggling to understand why it was almost $40 for SIDES and bad dessert! A total waste!

We went for a birthday dinner. Ordered 3 steaks and one prime rib. The flavor of the prime ribe was “okay”, The steaks; 1-medium/rare steak was raw and mooing, the med steak was med/rare. It took some time to locate the waitress, she was very kind and they refired the raw steak. She didnt ask about the temperature on the other steaks. They were edible and didn’t warrant sending them back. The raw steak came back good, and my son eat it while we watched. We had already finished our meals. There was no comp on the bill and we didn’t order desserts. I think they have had the same table cloths for the last 30 years. Very dated. I’m not sure if I will be returning.

This is a popular venue and well liked. It is pricey. Two of the T bones were ordered medium rare. They were near well done. The waitresses took both back. She returned with them saying the cook said they were fine. I have never experienced a cook saying to take the food back. We refused to accept them back. New ones were made and were good. The slow service was due staff shortage (not the venues fault). Our waitress was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Staff shortages are a problem everywhere.
We have eaten there several times in the past and always enjoyed it. The food was well plated.

Got the chicken fried steak To go. My fiancé ordered me extra gravy and extra potato’s. Got home and I had the extra gravy but no extra potato’s. I was extremely disappointed since this was my after surgery meal. This was the first time I’ve ever had food from here and was so sad in the quality and the fact I had missing food.

Its been a few years since I was here last.
They did not disappoint! Its been hard to find a REAL steak anymore !! I’m NOT a grass fed/finished fan at all !! Amongst other modifications found out there now a days !! Their pepper steak was perfect !! Along with the salad bar.. was excellent.
Service & apnosphere were spot on !!

Have your next event or party here! We just rented their event space room for our annual banquet and everything was incredible! The service was SOO so good, the food was amazing, everyone’s food came out hot and such high quality we couldn’t believe it. The salad bar and the sweet kind servers were the best part 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent prime rib or awesome corporate or private event space
