Reviews
I’m sure the staff is lovely and I’m sure this wasn’t within their control. The owners should take a look at their prices and quality of dishes and decide if they are doing their customers justice or not.
I informed the young lady at the register to make sure there were no capers as stated on the order. In annoyance, she acknowledged there would be no capers. I went back to the register to see how much longer and was informed it was being packaged and would be right out. After 5 minutes, I went back to the register to inquire about my order. The order was prepared with capers and had to be remade.
Although I was informed it would not take long, I still waited. When I finally received my order, it was poorly packaged. I asked for extra sauce, which I was charged for but unfortunately, half of the sauce spilled in the bag. The container was extremely hot but I held it upright for the short drive back to my home to ensure the contents stayed in the container. There was only a family of three seated in restaurant which doesn’t explain the length of time I waited for my order and the condition of the meal when I finally received it. And by the way I could see the person preparing the food who was touching her hair and was not wearing gloves. I should have requested a refund and canceled the order but I didn’t have anything prepared at home and the alternative places to eat were not desirable.
I gave the atmosphere 5 stars because it’s a quaint restaurant. Too bad I won’t be going back to dine in or order takeout.
Let’s get into it!
Upon walking in I noticed people already seated and eating. It was around 12pm on a Monday.
I was greeted immediately by a young man.
He helped me navigate the large menu.
I ended up ordering.
One pepperoni pizza
One half cheese and supreme with jalapeños
Buffalo wings
House salad
Let’s get into the pizza right away.
Pizza looked like NY style good sign.
Biting into it. Ok wow does taste like NY pizza actually I was surprised. However it is missing sauce. It’s definitely a bit dry. Maybe either ask for extra marinara on the pizza or some on the side to dip.
Other than that? Pizza tastes great!
buffalo wings.
Cooked to perfection. Ordered the medium hot.
Lots of sauce and good chicken. I’d 100% order this again.
House salad. Asked for no spinach but it was put in there anyways so I couldn’t eat it unfortunately.
Inside was clean but a bit cluttered.
Just from those few things that’s why it’s a 4 star not 5.
When you walk into here you’re expecting good pizza. The pizza is good but just needs more sauce.
So overall would I return? Without a doubt yes. I’d love to try some other things on their menu.
Also the prices aren’t bad either.
Enjoy!
Food: above average.
Decor: a bit cluttered but the theme makes sense.
Cleanliness: very clean.
Staff: no issues with staff at all.
Bathrooms: N.A. didn’t use them.
We had the all meat pizza. It was delicious it didn’t have overwhelming of toppings and also I don’t like my pizza with a lot of tomato sauce and that’s how it came. The sauce was just right not too much where it over powers the pizza. I will definitely be coming back!!!!
The service has declined recently, and unfortunately, the quality of the pizza has gone down as well. I hope the management can bring more consistency to both the pricing and the overall experience.
The blonde cashier new one very rude & Yelling in people face so impolite!
The in store experience wasn’t great but at least if the food is good, I guess it makes up for it. The food wasn’t good though. The pizza was ok but kind of dry, almost like there isn’t any sauce. I tried a slice of pepperoni and it was dripping with oil. The spaghetti and meatballs were by far the worst, absolutely horrible. The pasta was wet and the sauce watery with no real flavor. The meatballs almost made me throw up though, they taste like plain ground beef that was boiled. No flavor, no seasoning, nothing. And it didn’t even come with garlic bread, just a piece of cold baguette.
I’m disappointed I drove all the way here to try it but even if I lived right across the street, I still wouldn’t be back. Maybe I just came in at a bad time or caught them on a bad day but it was so bad I’m not coming back to give them another chance.
The thin crust was very old, chewy, and dry. It was old crust that was not discarded.
The service is “slyly rude, questionable, and uncoordinated.” The salad had less than a dime size of lunch meat and very little chopped olives, cheese etc. . The salad was not worth the money.
Very abysmal, mediocre, and strange service. They have so much potential. They have to be more serious about their food.
