Grabbed an early dinner right after work about 5pm. Quiet atmosphere and very fast service.
Had the battered white fish and carne asada.
While both were good, the battered white fish taco was absolutely delicious – definitely the star of the show. Loved the little salsa bar.
Portions were great. Left full and happy.

Presentation and taste were a 10/10 — really good, authentic flavor. The portion size was perfect for me, though it might feel a bit small for others.
Service and ambience were both 10/10. It truly feels like an authentic Mexican taquería.

Amazing tacos. Some unique combos that were awesome, like the grilled Mahi Mahi. Had 5 different tacos, all great. Salsa/accutrament bar was elite. Chicken quesadilla was elite for my 1 year old

Such a cool place! The murals were super cute, of the Adams Family variety. The service was kind and fast. They didn’t hover to see what you were going to tip. The food was amazing. I went twice during my trip to San Diego. I got the whitefish and chipotle shrimp tacos both times. Fish and shrimp cooked perfectly, fresh corn tortillas, and the sauces were delicious. Great experience! Only thing is I’m wondering why many restaurants don’t have restrooms in this town, lol!

Absolutely fantastic tacos, but the fried and breaded white fish taco was one of the best I have ever eaten. Tortillas were flavorful – truly! – and the fillings were generous. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will visit every time I’m in San Diego, for sure.

Came here at 12:45 pm on a Tuesday. A bit busy because of a conference here in downtown San Diego. I had a really simple order, I got a Battered White Fish Taco. This had fresh avocado, cabbage and chipotle cream. The salsa bar is nice too, they had extra chipole cream salsa, nice onions and extra limes, just everything I needed. Overall the taco was solid and hit the craving. Also good amount of fish in the taco which is a plus!

Wow! The tacos here are FANTASTIC! You cannot beat these flavors and variety of fillings. We tried quite a few and the ones to really stand out were the chipotle shrimp, mushroom fundido and the scallop taco. If I lived in San Diego, I’d go every day until I tried them all. Service was quick and friendly, and I always love a good salsa bar. Don’t miss this place when you’re in the area!
