I usually don’t leave reviews for Starbucks, but I was waiting so long I had time to email the manager, Mel, and look up the reviews on Google to find out this is a three star location. As I told the manager one bathroom is just locked. I assume that’s what the employees use? The other bathroom has no toilet paper or soap and is an absolute mess. That’s a little disappointing, considering most people stop at these places for the restroom and drinks

I was told upon arrival that the registers aren’t working and I had to use the app. The store was not super busy so I figured that’s no big deal, five minutes later the next customer is greeted at the register and able to order. Pretty chaotic and pretty dirty and none of the employees in friendly.

I visit different Starbucks on a daily basis and This is definitely one of the lower tier ones I found.

My favorite place to sit, relax and enjoy the food/coffee and atmosphere. The Baristas in this store are the best I’ve found. They know everyone’s name and if they’re a regular, what they usually order! They treat their customers like family and want everyone to be satisfied with their orders. Actually, one of the worst Starbucks I’ve been to. The wait at the drive-thru was 20 minutes, and when I finally pulled up to the window, the lady on the speaker said nothing except “Hi. Starbucks” I was unsure if I could start ordering or not, but I did. After I ordered, she didn’t say anything, so i also wasn’t sure if that was the end. I had to say “thank you” again just so she knew. When I finally pulled up to the window after 10 more minutes, she handed me my first drink and did not even wait a second for me to put it down before saying “here you go” for the second one, rushing me out the line. I’ve been to really good Starbucks where the service is so good it makes you want to come back, but if you truly hate your job and can’t even make the simplest drinks… good? then please start looking for something not in food. The drink tasted so bad and watered down I was starting to doubt my own taste buds, not sure and the ice was melted so fast you would think it was 90 degrees outside, but no it’s 30 degrees today.

Starbucks in Hamden, CT has the absolute worse customer service! My drink is always watered down, the employees need training on how to make the drinks because this is not it!!! I placed a mobile order on the app and had to wait over 40 minutes for my order! WTH. I dont understand why they are so slow and can never get the order correct.

11/23 at 6:30pm ordered Iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso , received a cup half full , not even full to the rim , so bitter , no cinnamon. Tipped the worker BTW , Went back to the drive through to ask for it remade but the worker gave me that Gen Z stare and had an attitude just for politely asking for it to be re made .Thanked the worker for it being remade but he did not respond. Never had a bad experience at Starbucks until this one

This Starbucks is honestly a joke. The workers are straight-up nasty for no reason. You walk in and they’re already giving you death stares and attitude like you’re ruining their entire day just by existing. It’s a total vibe killer to get snapped at every time you try to order. They are incredibly slow, yet they still manage to butcher the simplest drinks every single time. You’ll stand there forever waiting for a basic iced coffee only to get handed some lukewarm, watered down mess that isn’t even what you paid for. It takes a special kind of effort to be that rude and that bad at your job at the same time. Save your sanity and go literally anywhere else.

Stopped in for coffee and sandwiches and expected a very long wait due to the number of cars and no advance ordering, but the team at this location is superb and turned orders around d quickly and with a warm, welcoming demeanor. The manager in particular was so on her game and mindful of each customer. It is also clean, bright and well laid out.

Employees are too busy talking and laughing with each other while customers and Uber drivers are left confused and waiting for orders. When I mentioned the order and wait time to an employee, the order had already been waiting for 10 minutes on the counter, just out of my reach. Employees then proceeded to blame me for not asking earlier, even though I had and was ignored. They gave me attitude and made me wait even longer to “finish my order,” which really meant letting it sit while finishing other orders. I was not the only customer at that time to be treated this way. In my opinion, and I know it’s already valued enough on Google, just skip this place.

Waiting 20 minutes on a Carmel latte is crazy. It’s bad enough when I placed the order you didn’t have what I wanted but to be sitting and waiting 20mins just made it worse. You guys worry more about the drive thru than the inside. Definitely under staffed that’s the only reason I didn’t give you guys a 1 star and you got 2. Don’t have to worry about me coming here anymore, I’ll just get my Starbucks before I make it to Hamden.

This should be a 0 star establishment. They denied me a cup of water unless I made a purchase. At first I ordered a chai latte, understandably, they were out of chai. The lady was rude when I asked for a cup of water and she informed me I needed to buy something if I wanted a cup of water. So I did, regretfully. Then I waited for my two drinks for 15 minutes. I had to leave before I could even get my drinks due to an appointment. You could not get their attention for anything. I think their rating is too high.
