Chef Lee’s is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in town! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Their General Tso’s Chicken is crispy and tangy, the dumplings are handmade and packed with flavor, and the hot & sour soup is the best I’ve had. The portions are generous, and the service is top-notch—friendly, fast, and attentive. Whether dining in or taking out, the experience is always fantastic. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine!

It’s been a while since I last visited Chef Lee’s; when I went there this past Sunday, Surprisingly, it wasn’t as busy as I expected, which made for a good dining experience.

Our server was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. As for the food, it was delicious! We ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and beef & broccoli, and each dish was a hit. The portions were very generous; with just the two of us, we were able to enjoy seconds and still had leftovers to take home.

The bill came to $55 after tip and taxes, which we found to be quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this restaurant for 7 years. Since 2016, my husband Ronnie has taken me to this wonderful place and we always enjoy a good evening of foods and drinks . Now the service can use some enhancing but we still enjoyed the evening. Thank you

Went for dinner around 6.30pm on a Saturday. Was not very busy and they seated right me away.
Immediately was asked if I wanted a drink. A couple minutes later, my waiter came to take my order. I was ready and placed my requests.
Chow mein came first, about 5 minutes later the fried rice and mushu pork arrived. Everything was hot when I served my plate and tasted delicious.
Veggies were cooked to my liking, not soft but not too hard. Sauces had great flavor as well.
The waiter was attentive and checked up on me, boxed up everything when I was done, and had a pleasant sense of humor.

Overall a great experience. Usually I order ToGo but decided to dine in for once. I was not disappointed.

I’m so disappointed, the steamed rice was too mushy and way overcooked, the won ton soup was very soggy , and finally the beef Chow Mein was worse than steamed rice, way overcooked and sticky. Very very disappointed ☹️

The food quality is not what I expected at all, granting they are a bit pricey. Although the lady and the staff were nice and their wonton soup is the only food i actually found tasty but I left unsatisfied even though I came starving. I would not come back because I really love me some real good chinese food and this place is not up to par. Don’t judge a restaurant by its location. Just cause it’s located in a nicer location does not mean anything.

The food was good but if you ask me if it were best.. it’s not. It was will made for the most part. For example, the fried rice could have had more veggies. It was more rice.

We were on a road trip to SoCal and stopped by Salinas for dinner. Was pretty cold at night so we decided to eat food meals. Chef Lee’s restaurant caught my eye and I ordered the chicken fried rice and snow pea beef (to-go orders). The food was served fast (5 mins!), hot and VERY delicious! Perhaps I was just hungry? Possibly but I love their authentic, Chinese family style meals. I particularly loved the chicken fried rice, each spoonful was hot and satisfying. The portion was big and enough for two (maybe 3).

On our return trip we wanted to go to the restaurant again. This time we ordered the Seafood Fried Hongkong Style Noodles. The portion was big enough for two and was also very yummy! The seafood was abundant and of different varieties, while there was enough veggies. The crispy noodles were just perfect!

The price was very inexpensive for such large portion and quality.

The staff were also very friendly and thoughtful to give us paper plates to eat the food clean in the car.

Food here was good. Egg rolls were subpar and mushy but that was fine. The chicken chow mein came out fast and was filling. Took the rest home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Digitally speaking, there should be an online menu or website, and also the business should be claimed on Google. The manager, super nice guy, had already suggested it to the owner but they won’t move on it for some reason. Too bad! The manager knows what he’s talking about. 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
