Loved this ice cream stand . Do we tried it once it reopened as Mays. Terrible fake soft serve. I was standing in 95 degree weather wondering why the ice cream tasted funny and then I realized it was not melting at all. 20 minutes later and still not melted. Looked it up and read about this fake ice cream that doesn’t melt. Terrible idea.

Delicious ice cream and super patient staff! I stopped in after an afternoon at Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland with my very tired and cranky kiddos. There was not a wait at all, although the line was starting up as we left. The ice cream was wonderful and the service was quick!

This is the best ice cream shop in the area! Ice cream is incredible no joke! The prices are the best in the entire area! The building/area is so neat it makes you feel like your getting the whole old school ice cream experience yet modern aesthetic! So cool! I’m willing to drive a distance just to go here! 10 stars

Perhaps described as “marginally adequate” ice cream, at best. The specialty flavors are very weak, and the sizes are minuscule compared to other shops in the area. If you want value for money, go elsewhere (like, take a short drive west on Route 45). No need to return.

First visit was yesterday. Service was fine however, my cone of pumpkin was soft so they kindly asked if they could put it in a dish.
I didn’t mind and the pumpkin ice cream rocked! Can’t wait for another stop, thanks Mays for moving in!

Menus are on the inside on TVs and are quite difficult to read during the day through glass. The ones on the side were too low to the ground. The menus were changing too fast and I couldn’t read them in time. The mint chip flavor was quite awful. It had a very strong aftertaste of toothpaste almost. Hard pass on that flavor. The vanilla I got was better. Please consider changing the mint chip to another variant.

Tons of soft serve, milkshake, ice cream sandwich, and sundae options at good prices. We love getting the peanut butter milkshake. Also, the ice cream sandwiches are only $1-2 which is a great deal.
