We saved our reward points for an entire year specifically to redeem an 8” ice cream cake, expecting it to be covered by our rewards. When we arrived, we were told they didn’t have any 8” cakes available — only 10” cakes. That was disappointing, but we agreed to purchase the larger cake instead.

Instead of using our rewards like planned, we ended up paying $43 out of pocket, which completely defeated the purpose of saving points all year.

What made the experience worse was being told we had to wait 55 minutes while they made the cake. If they were able to make a 10” cake from scratch while we waited, it makes no sense why an 8” cake couldn’t have been made — especially since that was the reward item we came for.

After the long wait and unexpected cost, the cake wasn’t even made correctly.

Overall, this felt extremely frustrating and honestly misleading. We planned ahead, saved points, and still left paying full price, waiting nearly an hour, and receiving an incorrect product. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

Night manager is RUDE !!! I came in with a mobile order that was debited from my account and didn’t show in the app. I showed the girl at the counter the order and the exact amount and the debit from my account. She said that’s ok I’ll make it for you. Then the night manager YELLED AT HER so loud you could hear her across the restaurant saying THATS WHY I HATE THAT FREAKING APP. WE ARE ((NOT)) MAKING IT BECAUSE (WE) DON’T HAVE THE MONEY.
The woman never even addressed me herself.
I left empty handed. She is incredibly rude.

I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!

It seems this location has changed hands somehow and is now run by Indians and it has made communication more difficult and multiple times they have been rude and interrupted me during my orders. When I was ordering at the drive-thru they just stopped talking to me for several minutes then acted like I was a new order and when I restated my order the person cut me off and spoke over me. I will not be back until this is fixed. When I finally got to the window for my icecream they sat it at the window for several minutes and by the time I had it in hand it was already melting and soupy. There’s plenty of other food/icecream in Jasper that is worth not dealing with this.

A shame, this has been a favorite of mine but not anymore.

The service was great, it did seem to be little bit of a wait for only ice cream but it was fun sitting on the patio watching traffic to pass time. The store was very clean and the patio was also clean. Easy to access parking from the main road.

when I last visited Dairy Queen last time, we went through the drive through and although we had an issue with ordering my bacon cheese burger, it was a special order, we had trouble with explaining what we wanted on the burger. They have some of the best bacon cheeseburgers in town. I love them. Our overall experience was great despite the difficulty we had.

Just walked up to the door to go inside at 9:10pm and the doors are locked, although they don’t close until 10:00pm? According to the hours listed here at least. They don’t post their hours on the door so they can close early if it’s a slow night, or if they just want to go home early. This location has a long history of poor customer service. From rude employees behaving as if the customer is bothering them to skimping on the ice cream mix so it tastes almost gritty instead of creamy like it’s supposed to. I honestly don’t know why I even still try.

The food was good, like always. Unfortunately the lady that took our order, Lashaundra was very unpleasant. We went a couple days ago too just to get ice cream, and she acted like it was inconvenient to have to make our blizzards. Then today when she brought our food to us she just dropped the tray on the table and stormed off! I was very unhappy with the service the past couple visits. I love dairy Queen. I also work in customer service and am a manager, so to see someone treat customers in such an unprofessional manner was unacceptable
