Atmosphere 4/5, the lake makes your dinne unbelievable!! But men restrooms were out of service.
Service is really good.
Food is not that good. Appetizers too breaded, “medium rare” salmon was almost well done, and the salad was just lettuce and not roman as stated in the menu.

This place has great seafood. The fish and chips here are surprisingly good. They are greasy, but the fish is cooked perfectly. It’s moist and flaky. Everything here came out very hot and fresh to the point that you could not touch the fish when it arrived. The drinks here were well balanced as well. The servers here were very nice and prompt. The prices here are on the higher side, but it is seafood. So that is to be expected. There is also plenty of parking in a lot behind the building.

Awesome burger. Cooked just the way I like it a little pink in the center. Great seasoning and good quality grind. The fish was a bit bland but still nice and hot when served. Loved the hush puppies a few were a bit overcooked but most were still moist in the center. Some attention to detail and it would be a even better experience.

Such a beautiful place, with a serene background. It was such a joy to sit outdoors and enjoy the amazing sea food. The team was very accommodating and made sure that we got a seat out doors as requested. The server recommended some delicious menu items and we definitely loved trying those. For anyone who loves sea food and likes a lake view, this is your go to place. Definitely try this place out if you are in the Kent area.

The food unfortunately didn’t match the location, atmosphere and service. We had the chips (Lake Chips) and hush puppy (Loud Dog) appetizers to start. Both were just okay. I got the Lakehouse Mule, which was fantastic. The view is spectacular (a storm even rolled across the lake) and the atmosphere had great vibes. I also loved the decor and set up. Every single staff member was beyond lovely, and I mean it. The staff is a treasure! My husband got the Twin Filets and I got the Mahi Mahi. I couldn’t bring myself finish my meal, the fish was very much over cooked and dry. A little surprised the seasonal vegetable was cooked carrots, but that’s on me, I should have asked. Tiramisu was good! If we come back, it’ll be for a drink at the bar, the view, and team members who redeemed a rare date night for us.

Wonderful experience first time dining at The Lake House Kitchen +Bar! Always wanted to try it and todays weather was perfect day. The gals at the hostess station were sweet as could be~ fit me in , even without a reservation! Very sweet.
Service was great! Being solo, I was able to observe a lot, and all the servers and workers were pleasant and hard at work! They were hoppin!
Crab corn fritters were delicious and I was early enough to get then at the ” happy hour” price. Thai Chili Salmon was delicious! Very tasty! My piece of fish was a bit small compared to others I saw eating same meal, but tasted delicious. Even the table next to me commented how big their piece of fish was.
Lovely view, I will definitely go back and next time hopefully bring some friends AND make a reservation!

Came in to celebrate my daughter’s 13th Birthday! It was our 1st time and it was absolutely a splendid experience from start to finish! Great food 10/10 and staff!! I recommend the buffalo chicken dip, cocktail shrimp and flatbread appetizer! We didn’t care for the shrimp scampi but the twin steaks, tuna, salmon and chicken tenders were a hit! Great Shirley Temple drink as well. Looking forward to our next visit!
