The food is excellent every time! Most Indian restaurants that we go to, we only order our usual favorites, but here we have yet to find anything that we don’t like!
I was disappointed with the serving of the chicken tikka masala when I saw the to go container. I was hoping to be able to save some for later like when I get Chinese food because of the price but I was full by the time I ate half of it.
Otherwise I loved the flavor and immediately noted the flavor of tomato in there. The chicken was sparse and only at the bottom but I ended up liking that a lot with my nan because I could dip it in there instead of having to grab at it.
The serving of rice was huge and I was also full by the time I at half of it, and I loved the flavor as well. I also appreciated that it came with my masala, and I realized when ordering why it was so pricy for some masala.
The nan was soft and the garlic nan was a bit tougher almost as if it had been sitting out for a while.
I did end up walking home with it after taking the bus and my food was still warm by the time I sat down to enjoy it. That took over an hour, perhaps closer to 2. I did not need to use a microwave for anything either. The container for the masala did open but fortunately it didn’t get anywhere in my bag and hardly any of it spilled.
I think it would warm up very well. I would steam the nan and rice with a wet paper towel over it so neither of them would get hard and it would be just as good as when it was fresh.
Their lamb saag– we order it every time! Highly recommend if you like lamb!
Service is always pretty good for us. Options are good.
I always get butter chicken and buttered naan. My husband gets chicken tikka masala.
They use quality meats and everything has a good flavor.
Pay close attention to window signs to find this restaurant. You have to go through two doors to be inside. I walked right past this place the first time I visited, it’s a little easy to miss if you aren’t careful.
