Came here during lunchtime and walked away impressed! They have all of your typical Greek favorites, I tried the chicken shawarma plate which came with a massive amount of chicken and rice. You could definitely turn this into two meals. The chicken was tasty and well seasoned. We also tried the hummus which was very tasty and came with delicious pita. I also suggest trying their hot tea which had a unique flavor. The location is on the small slide, but they have some indoor and outdoor tables. It’s a counter service set-up and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Parking is difficult, but that’s the case for anywhere in this part of Carmel. Overall, I suggest giving this place a shot if you like Mediterranean food!

It’s unfortunate to leave this review with so many competing Greek restaurants on the same block, but I feel like it needs to be shared. We ordered a Greek platter and a gyro sandwich which cost us $50, the platter had barely any meat on it and we were given the wrong side. The saddest part was the gyro sandwich, I have experienced 100s of Greek restaurants as it’s my favorite food and no matter where we go you have leftovers and a hearty meal. Tonight that was far from the truth. I was given a tortilla instead of a pita, no toppings on the gyro, barely any meat and then the “side salad” was literally a small pile of plain lettuce. Very disappointed.

Ummm what happen to this place….fries are cold krinkle cut fries, my spicy gyro had wilted lettuce and two pieces of tomato and like 3 slivers of onion. Tzatziki sauce had overwhelming mint flavor and the lamb kabob was flavorless. Good luck if you keep this up. Arby’s gyro has you beat by a long shot. Lettuce has no place on a gyro. I’ll send a home recipe for you guys to get back to the basics and we wish we could get our $40+ back. Made our own Tzatziki and seasoned the lamb, heated the food back up so it was worth eating. Wish I took a picture of the garbage but here is my homemade remake of your garbage and a gyro should at least come close to resembling.

A Memorable Dining Experience
The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambience added a perfect touch to the evening. I asked for something spicy, and the chef delivered with some roasted serrano peppers that had a truly unique and memorable flavor. It’s rare to find that kind of attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I picked this place while visiting Carmel with my youngest sister and her husband, who’s half-Greek. It was just five minutes from the hotel. I’ve passed this busy corner a few times and was surprised to not even notice this restaurant. In we went, and the aroma greeted us before the staff did. Smelled soooo wonderful. The owner and his staff member had a friendly aura that adds to the mysticism of Carmel currently being America’s fifth-richest city, but having a noticeably small town charm. The three of us ordered different items: a Gryo Platter; Lamb Kabobs; and Chicken Shawarma. Our plates were heaping full. The accompanying garlic sauce was da BAWMB. The homemade tzatziki sauce was authentic. The thick-sliced gryo meat had major street cred. We all gave high marks on our very flavorful dinner, with plenty of leftovers that I smashed on for lunch the next day. Great place in the heart of downtown Carmel. Excellent!

Delicious dinner for a family of 5! Best warm bread, and hummus! I was able to stop in here and get dinner for a family of 5, including teens, for a reasonable price, plus we have leftovers! And it was fast. Most amazing delicious lamb and chicken, rice, sauces – we will be back again!

I don’t live in Carmel any more, but every time I return, I try to visit Papa Fattoush’s restaurant!! My usual order is a gyro with a side salad, and every part of the meal is packed with flavor, from the gyro meat all the way down to even the salad dressing (seriously, if they started selling their salad dressing in a bottle, I’d buy it). The staff are always friendly and they have free tea, but you can also bring your own drink as well. I’d highly recommend it to anybody stopping by downtown Carmel for a quick bite to eat.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our way through town for an early dinner. We ordered the platter with gyro meat and fries. We added a pita bread so my boyfriend could make a sandwich. We had plenty of food for the two of us, and we even took home a to go box of food. They offered a drink station by the door with complementary water and hot tea. Everything was really good and I would definitely come back here to eat when I pass through town again.

if you are in or near Carmel, IN this is a must stop. The ambiance is very homey and historical. Very open with seating and lots of natural light from the windows. they have outdoor seating as well. The food is authentic, homemade, and made from scratch. The staff there are awesome and the food is incredible with large portion size. There is something there for everyone. There is public parking a less than a block away.
