Cafe Alma is a lovely coffee shop with a warm, welcoming vibe. I love the convenience of being able to order right from your table, which makes the experience even more relaxed. The cortados here are phenomenal, and the miel latte is easily the best in the Twin Cities.

They always have a great variety of pastries, all fresh and delicious, and the service is consistently friendly. Parking can be a little tricky, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of the drinks and the atmosphere. A true gem in Minneapolis.

Super cute cafe with delicious food and drinks! Got the maple rosemary cortado and gluten free torta sorta with the gf almond cake. Everything was delish and served very quickly. Friendly servers and great atmosphere for brunch!

The food was amazing! The Sunshine Helps sandwich with shaved ham was perfection in every bite. I’ve never had a biscuit like it. The roasted potatoes were almost creamy inside. And the fruit danish – it was blueberry and sweet corn cream! So many layers and delish – not overly sweet. We picked up a sourdough loaf of bread to take home and enjoyed it with butter later. You’ll walk out of this place enjoying life just a little bit more.

The cafe is so popular but I don’t understand why. There’s very little drink options and it’s so crowded with long lines, hard to find tables and long wait times for your orders to arrive. The drinks and pastries we got were okay but it’s a one time cafe in my opinion as I don’t see anything unique about the place.

Cafe Alma was delightful! It is a brasserie type restaurant and coffee shop – offering made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, scratch-made soups, salads, along with specialty coffee drinks, pastries, confections and more. The servers/baristas were all so friendly and helpful!

Wow. My husband and I went to Cafe Alma for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We really loved the atmosphere, the food/drinks and the service was great.

The menu changes every 5-6 weeks but this was our seasonal menu. The warm garlic flan was amazing. The portions, though typical small due to this type of plated service, were large enough to be comfortably full by the end of the meal. My husband had a daiquiri and an old fashion, and I had a N/A Melon Shrub drink and tea. Finished the night with a delicious cappuccino. Everything was fantastic.

There was a 21% surcharge but I didn’t mind paying it, knowing it helps out their staff. They didn’t have a tip line so we left the cash we had on top of it because we had a great experience.

Visited daughter in Minneapolis and she always takes me to some really great places. This was one. I opted for the tomato soup and a bib salad with buttermilk dressing and a local craft beer. Daughter had the saffron rice with chickpeas. Also enjoyed the sourdough bread with jam and butter. The beer arrived exceptionally cold and very, very tasty. I apologize for not remembering the brewery but trust me, it was a mild IPA with a hint of dry as you swallow. Very well done. The tomato soup was absolutely perfect! It had chunks of tomatoes with an herb taste that was served piping hot (a MUST) and topped with homemade croutons. Jeeminy, my taste buds were screaming for more as I shoveled it in as fast as I could. The sourdough bread was perfection! I love this kind of bread when it’s not tangy and this was not! Daughters rice bowl was far from bland and the chickpeas were cooked so they weren’t mushy nor crunchy. our server was a bit busy and didn’t engage at all. Perhaps she was too engaged in her job. This place is not be missed! Definitely go here and EAT!

This is my favorite neighborhood spot in Minneapolis. Here’s why: no tipping required, coffee and pastries and breakfast sandwiches are always fantastic, they have a La Marzocco and know how to steam their milk, you can just walk in and sit at any open table where you scan the QR code and order directly. The vibe inside is nice, not too loud, staff are friendly, food comes efficiently. Honestly the more I think about it the more amazing this place is to me.

Great daytime cafe. Got a black currant lemon scone, a breakfast sandwich and an iced latte which were all great! Also liked the nice, clean aesthetic, though lighting was a bit darker than I had expected in the seating area.

I liked this place. Their breakfast sandwiches are quite tasty. The corner store specifically has some great quality thick cut bacon on a breakfast sandwich! And their scones are pretty good as well. The only complaint I had is the coffee is not that great I think it might be under steeped or something because it’s got a sour taste to it that coffee shouldn’t have. But other than that everything was great. Especially the service provided everyone was super nice!
