We’ve heard good things about this place so finally made the trip up from White Bear Lake for taco Tuesday. They had a great taco special for $1.35, which was a steel also got the two Timmy’s plate the fish taco with corn tortillas and the Carne Asada burrito. All the food was great like a fish taco was a little bland. Got the wrong kind of salsa on it so it wasn’t a ton of flavor. Portions were generous prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back here. Parking was simple. Only downside was the service was lacking – took a while to be acknowledged but not a deal breaker. Interior had plenty of space for eating with a couple TVs.
Would recommend for good cheap Mexican!

Our friends brought us in for our first Taco Tuesday for an amazing dinner! If you’re planning to go, it’s less than $2 a taco (at the time of this review Sep. 2025) and a line starts forming out the door by 5 pm! We got there at 4:30 pm and made sure we’re had time to chow down before we ordered more. They had a variety of different meats you could put on your tacos and all the fixings.

Food is getting expensive everywhere, but this food is so dang good. It’s a counter service place that feels like a Chipotle, but is actual Mexican food. I had the enchiladas Verde plate, my youngest kid had a couple tacos, and my teen had street tacos. Plates were clean and fingers licked. So good. Indoor and outdoor seating.

We catered in food today for our entire staff. Jennifer was on time and had everything set up. The staff and I loved it! We will definitely do this with Red Luna again.

We love the shrimp and fish tacos from Red Luna Taco Factory! The street tacos are really great as well and I think we’ve tried just about every single one by now. Very authentic taste.
I really enjoy the chips and queso as well.
The salsas are so flavorful and complement anything and everything you order so well. Many options from mild to very spicy.
I also like the quesadillas and dip them in the queso and salsa. We highly recommend trying this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

I wanted to love this taco factory as I love the Red Luna Seasons restaurant but this unfortunately wasn’t as good as I hoped and wanted. I got my typical fajita plate and it was mush especially the rice. My friend order the steak ranchero and it looked greasy. We went during the burrito daily special day on Thursday and my other friend got a burrito her food was cold. The chips and salsa were also disappointing, the chips were stale and the salsa tasted like it was from a can. The presentation was sloppy.
The ordering system was dysfunctional, we told the first employee what we’re wanted and then we kinda stood their waiting for anything, we were given the burrito and chips and salsa first and it was very unclear when my food and the steak ranchero was going to be ready until we walked back to the cashier to see him just holding my food.
I understand it is a serve yourself type of place but we weren’t given even napkins but rather had to use paper towels instead.
We dined in the restaurant and there wasn’t a line ing we placed our order. My friends and I were disappointed by the food and service.

So close to an authentic taco shop. Our tortillas were a little under cooked, the meat is softer and is all sitting in rubs to serve you quickly. The flavors were very good. After having the street tacos I was curious to try their other plates and burritos as those looked better and the meat selection and the way it is prepared looks like it would better suit platos and burritos – which is kind of a bummer because it’s a “taco shop” not a “burritos y platos shop”. Despite this critique, we decided to add the place as a “must visit again” and I look forward to trying more of the menu. I may possibly update to 5 stars if additional visits are as good or better than this one.
Another nice thing is they have beer and other good beverages that go perfect with the food. This is a great lunch spot for quick tasty Mexican food. Also, the food sat well in my stomach. 🙂 no issues there
Will they again and highly recommend.

We had a great time there. The food tasted authentic. I ordered the Al Pastor Steet Tacos with rice and black bean. I was impressed. It’s definitely a place to try out if you want good spanish food.

Fabulous fresh produce, grilled meats, and crispy shells! The price is a little high, but I greatly appreciate that I get a healthy bowl or basket of food versus everything being deep-fried at nearly every other Mexican restaurant! My favorites is the spicy pork in a burrito bowl or crispy taco. Get a large container of guacamole for your meal — so delish!
They have ample seating in the back. The few booths have hardwood bench seats, but the tables have cushioned chairs, which my sensitive back appreciates.
We arrived around 5pm and were able to place our order within 5 minutes; however, a line quickly formed out the door behind us. Arrive early, if possible!

Great little spot, everything is assembled fresh right in front of you. I had the enchiladas plate that came with rice and refried beans. Everything was delicious. Might take a few visits to dial in my favorites. The have a large dining area inside and a few tables outside. They have beer and Margheritas. Dining area could have been cleaner… the requested tip range seems aggressive for counter service.
