I’ve been here a few times and I love their tacos campechanos. I also liked their quesadillas. I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving Mexican food and are on the Southside.

This is an absolute gem on the immediate Southside. Every one of my coworkers were impressed by the quality of the food after recommending. I have been satisfied both times visiting with the friendly staff and the awesome beef burrito with green and red sauce. Chips n salsa as well as queso was on point! Now my go-to for lunch at work.

This place seems just about right for a grocery store/ Mexican restaurant. I liked it! This place has been there for years and I always said that I was going to stop in and see how their food was and I finally did. I’m glad that I did. I got a very good carne asada burrito, rice and beans and chips with queso Blanco. I got a lot of food for $20! The cashier was friendly and helpful. You order your food and then pay for it in the grocery store section and then you take your ticket over to the window and put it on the counter and in just a very few minutes your food will be done. A very pleasant lady will hand you your food through the window when it’s ready! You can eat there in one of their booths or take it to go.

Being from Colorado I did not expect to eat such incredible Mexican food this far north in the Midwest. It’s small family-owned place with a grocery store and the food is out of this world. I got an al pastor tacos platter for lunch, and my partner got a chorizo burrito. After we ate, we turned around and went right back in to order more for dinner. Truly amazing and the owner is so kind and warm. Eat here! Your life will be better for it.

Food is pretty good when it’s actually made right I’m not sure what’s going on there but it seems like don’t pay attention to the orders that come through.

Friendly staff, authentic tacos, and reasonable prices. Vegetarians, however, will be disappointed. Many of the dishes come with peppers, avacado, tomato, onions, and a variety of other tasty vegetables, but none of them make it onto the vegetarian tacos or burritos, which consist of refried beans and iceberg lettuce.

Customer service was terrible. I asked for sour cream both on my tacos and on the side, and was charged extra for it. When my order came out, there was no sour cream at all, and I had to ask for it — even though I had already paid.
When I asked to have some added since it was missing, the staff member was argumentative and insisted I hadn’t ordered it, instead of simply correcting the issue. She showed no willingness to listen or acknowledge that the cashier may have misunderstood me, and placed the blame on me instead.
This kind of attitude and lack of accountability is exactly why I won’t be returning.

Don’t let the building scare you. Great little place for a quick bite. The tacos and quesadilla were amazing! We will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

The tacos were good, very tasty, really, but I got 4 tacos and a Coke for…$21. It was a good, I’m not sure it was THAT good.
