Hidden gem! We prefer eating off strip and at more local spots and this one was exactly what we were looking for. The food was authentic and delicious! We had the escargot, duck, and flank steak. We will absolutely be back!

Second time here, first time doing brunch. Food is fantastic. The burger with Brie is delicious. Today I had the breakfast croissant and veggie omelette and both were really good. Amazing fresh bread, the chocolate mousse desert was also top notch. Good selection of French wine and bottomless mimosas. Only complaint is that they only serve beer and wine, so no Bloody Mary’s available. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Prices are very reasonable.

Amazing food, nice atmosphere, and on par pricing! Our only complaint was the two waitresses seemed overworked and sometimes we were left waiting.

Oh La La, indeed. We had a wonderful time on our first visit. We started with a couple of glasses of rose from the Rhone region while we enjoyed delicious bread and loooked over the menu. She had the mussels and I had the duck breast. Both were delicious. But we started with the crusted goat cheese (hers) and the burrata (mine, on special). These were superior. We didn’t bother with paring our wine; we ordered something memorable instead. We weren’t disappointed. Note that the wine list is not inexpensive, while the rest of the menu is pretty reasonable. We had a merlot/cab from the Rhone valley and it was perfect. Unfortunately, we left no room for dessert, but we will come back on Sunday when the have some bottles of wine half-price. We can’t wait to tear into a charcuterie plate to go with it! Finally, and certainly not least, was our server, Anastasia. She was a delight. Thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, cheerful, and a pleasure to have as our server. We’ll be back soon!

The Restaurant Week lunchtime menu for Ohlala French Bistro looked amazing for its multitudinous per course offerings for only $40. So I went to check it out.

Effusive greeting from Nikki who escorted me to a just-laid table and gave me all the menus.

As mentioned, the RW menu for a three course lunch was $40; there were also several upcharges depending on particular dishes.
The regular menu had a three course lunch special, “Lunch Formule”, Tuesday through Friday, for $35. As my lunchtime fell with those days, the special had all the courses I had wanted to try for RW, and Nikki confirmed all portions were identical plus the special was the better deal, I henceforth made all my choices from the Lunch Formule menu.

But first, Nikki brought out a complimentary sliced baguette and butter. It seems sad that I get surprised nowadays by free bread.

Lunch menu prices in parentheses.

Appetizer choice
French Onion Soup ($11): Arrived piping hot. A different preparation using vegetable broth and, rather than the top being completely covered by cheese, two melty mild gruyère slices instead, merged with two baguette slices.

Entrée choice
Burger ($20 for 1/3lb of beef; RW option, billed as the Ohlala Burger, was listed as 1/2lb, and had a +$3 upcharge): Closer to medium than the requested medium-rare. The two large thick slabs of brie topping the beef made for interesting eating. Crisp bacon and buttery buns. Came with crispy shoestring fries, ketchup, and a cup of complimentary aioli. It was a lot.

Dessert choice
Chocolate Liégeois ($9): Very large scoops and cream in a glass jar. Overwhelming as a finish.

Famille Perrin 2019 Côtes du Rhône Réserve Rouge ($16): Large pour.

Value: Well. I suppose I hadn’t communicated as clearly from which menu I had ordered as I had thought, as the food part of the bill was filed under Restaurant Week, complete with the $3 upcharge for the burger, bringing that to $43, or $8 more than the Lunch Formule, and $3 more than if I had ordered a la carte (for slightly less patty on the burger). Dammitt. The receipt also listed the burger as MEDIUM, which explains the doneness level. Wine got a large markup.

Atmosphere: Quirky. A place with chandeliers and photos of French landmarks alongside framed steer skulls and the restaurant name written in cursive as a gigantic mirror behind the bar. Music was techno pop funk.

Service: Enthusiastic.

This place is a must try! Absolutely amazing food, wine, and service. The food was very flavorful from start to finish and it came out of the kitchen at a decent time. The Carbonara pasta and French onion soup stood out the most. I HIGHLY recommend this place

Located on SE corner of Lake Mead and Rampart right next to Starbucks.
I was in the area and remembered hearing about this restaurant, so my friend and I decided to try it.

Abbie was our server, she was friendly, attentive and, told us of the Specials.

What we ordered:
1.) Endive Salad $18.00 this was tasty with a balance of savory, sweet and tartness. We wished there was a bit more endive and a bit less dressing.
2.) Vegan Herb Arborio Risotto $23.00 this was well balanced with seasonings and rice was cooked great not mushy.
3.) Salmon Pasta $28.00 pasta cooked great tasted good , but wished it did not have as much cream sauce.
Will come again.

I visited Oh La La in Las Vegas and it was a very pleasant experience. We tried several French classics: the onion soup, steak tartare, escargot, ratatouille, and crème brûlée. Overall, the food was very good, and you can tell there’s a real effort to keep the flavors authentic.

The onion soup was well made, with a deep and comforting flavor. The steak tartare was fresh and balanced, and the escargot was truly a highlight, with that irresistible touch of butter and garlic. The crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly creamy with a caramelized top done just right.

The only dish I felt could be improved was the ratatouille. While the vegetables were well cooked and the natural juices flavorful, the dish felt a bit lacking in body, and I would have liked it to come with a sauce to elevate it further.

In conclusion, Oh La La is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for authentic French food in Las Vegas. With a few small improvements, especially in the ratatouille and attention to service details, the experience could be even better.

The menu is classic French Bistro executed magnificently! The French Onion Soup was to die for as was the Steak Tar-Tar (both better than strip versions and way less expensive) The Cornish hen was very good…the tell that it was going to be a wonderful dinner though was the fresh Baguette served salted butter…like from the finest of Paris!

The room has a very relaxed local Bistro feel, comfortable and well appointed…the servers, while youngish and attractive were long timers with deep knowledge and appreciation of the food, the room was 3/4 full the service was attentive, welcoming and friendly and it appeared that most of the other were regulars out for their 7:00 PM weekly! Highly recommended!

At first sight, the store front is not impressive but once you walk in and see behind the curtain, my eyes were in complete awe. The place is elegant and beautiful. When we sat down we were attended immediately. We looked at the menus but knew it was restaurant week. We knew what we wanted but wanted to compare what they were offering to their menu. Restaurant week saves you so much money. Our meals were absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The staff could of refilled our waters more but they were very nice and were knowledgeable about the menu. Ohlala is truly a hidden gem.
