I always have an amazing experience here! They have hired new people. I especially love Jamar – he is so upbeat, happy, and brings a smile to my face every time I come in to the shop! I love coming in and having a short chat with him and getting a nugget of Jamar wisdom. He is such a hard worker but makes time to connect with his customers if he has a moment while making an order. I truly appreciate this as I just lost my mom unexpectedly a few months ago and it really brightens my day. He’s seriously the best.

Very poor experience with the manager Bria. I ordered a power Panini and it was made wrong. To be short the manager came out with an aggressive tone and refused to remake the sandwich or even issue me a refund. Her reasoning was that it was my fault the sandwich was made wrong. Let me just say.. I order the power panini and time I order it it comes with chicken. No one aver asked me “chicken or avocado as your protein” I didnt know there was options it’s a simple misunderstanding. The cheese on my sandwich wasn’t even melted either. It was just a cold slab of cheese. I was very disappointed with the interaction I had with the manager Bria. She handled the situation beyond poorly and should really get retrained on customer service. I would t come here unless you want to wait 50 minutes for your order to be made wrong and have a bad interaction with the manager or staff. I wrote a more detailed review on yelp if you want to read that but I won’t be coming back to this location and I’m heavily suggesting you don’t come here either.

I’m torn because my kids love acai bowls but the service is always terrible. I order ahead of time, receive an ETA and then proceed to wait another 10-15 mins on top of an already 20 min ETA. Why it makes 30-40 mins to make an acai bowl is frustrating.
When other customers walked in to order, they were rudely told the wait was 30 mins after they order from the self service kiosk.
My last order was made incorrectly so I had to drive back (no one answered the phone) and then had to have them remake my daughter’s order for a total time of 1 hour since I originally placed my order!
Love this place but please train the staff and hire more employees!

The Acai bowl I had was good. Ingredients were fresh and it was fairly healthy. What was unsettling for me was the way I heard perhaps the manager or maybe even owner talk to both of the staff working behind the counter. She was working with a very friendly guy on inventory, and was very snippy and short with him. The other was a woman who was preparing the food. I could overhear the manager laying into her, scolding her, and being very abrasive. I think it had something to do perhaps with evening staff and their cleaning. Regardless, I was just shocked to hear how she was treating these employees. I was afraid the one woman was going to cry (she may have in her car after she left). I’m not sure it’s the type of environment I’d want to work in.

I love Vitality Bowls Danville! Great place to stop a great a snack after a walk or hike or workout or just for a quick treat, get a smoothie or bowl and enjoy tastes amazing, I don’t know why but they do something just better than trying to make a smoothie or açaí bowl at home. 5/5

When i ordered from this place, it said it would be 20 min for my order to be ready. I came in to pick it up after 30 min. After waiting for 10 min to be acknowledged at the store, the guy at the counter said it would be another 25 min! No apology, no nothing. When i asked why it was taking so long, he just said there was nothing i can do. My order was finally done an hour and 10 min after being placed. That’s 50 min later than the time it was supposed to be ready. The guy preparing it was so slow. I think they forgot about my order. Never going back to this location. The staff is way too slow. It’s incredible.

I have reported this establishment to the BBB and Contra Costa Health Department. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!! Dirty, unsanitary kitchen, I never got my food, was promised a refund twice (once in person, once over the phone) which I never got. The manager does NOT care at all and has no idea how to run a business.

I placed an order in the app at 11:35am. Arrived at 11:45am. The place is closed with a sign that says “Lunch brake (sic) 12:15 back”. I can’t wait here another 25 minutes for my food that was supposed to be ready at 11:50 a.m. It’s outrageous for them to accept orders when they aren’t actually open.

We’ve have bad luck with this place consistently which includes: calling our order in ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait, only to arrive and at that point they begin to make our order, the consistency of the base is soupy, the serving sizes between the same bowls vary (ordered 2 of the same exact bowl only to receive one filled to the rim & the other barely half way), we request & pay for extra granola & they forget every single time. I’m not someone who typically complains but when you’re shelling out $11 for a bowl of fruit, you expect to get exactly what you ordered. It’s not rocket science. We’ve given them chance after chance because they are conveniently close to our home, however after today’s experience, we will never return. I’d rather drive across town to the Livery where the service is guaranteed to be consistent and there’s no wait required.
