Great food and the old depot still has a lot to the original decor! Definitely recommend the hot brown pizza and steak ribbons. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our waitress and her knowledge of the town and the building’s history. Can’t wait to go again!

This restaurant is located in the old Paris train station. The porch to the station is enclosed with a view over the tracks. There were two fireplaces going. My friend got a chicken salad sandwich. I got a burger with a fried green tomato and pimento cheese. The fries were crinkle cut. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the food.

We had an incredible experience at Track Side in Paris, KY this Sunday! The pizza was perfectly cooked with a delicious crust and generous toppings, and the appetizers were bursting with flavor. Great service and cozy atmosphere made it even better. Highly recommend this local gem!

This was my first time eating there. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday and didn’t know it was pizza and appetizer only. Pizza was good. Not bad, not great, could have used alittle more flavor (chicken bacon ranch pizza). Atmosphere was good, although with the fire pits going it was alittle warm, and the sun was blaring in on us and in our faces. They have no blinds to use. But the bad review was for the service. Our waitress was terrible. Ordered a coke. But brought me a coke zero. Even though I repeated it with my refills. She kept saying coke zero and even when paying the check she said it again. She was inattentive. Waited awhile to order. Waited even longer after done for our check. There was only a couple and myself and she couldn’t split the check correctly. Then literally hovered over while you pay on the handheld device and select the amount of tip to receive.

I had the medallions (filet skewer) last night. It was cooked exactly to my request, well seasoned, lean, tender & because I chose the creamed spinach, it was low carb. The portion was large enough that I brought half home for another meal. It cut like butter and melted in my mouth. The salad was fresh, cold, & the homemade ranch dressing was perfect. I highly recommend! The taste alone was worth getting out in the cold, but the ambiance, with the indoor gas cozy & warm fire pits & intimate couches made it an experience that is a lot like being at a ski resort. If you have never eaten at a converted train depot, you need to go!

I was quite surprised to see servers and hosts in sweatpants when I walked in. I understand the concept of feeling at home in a restaurant but this takes it too far. Also very disappointed by the quality of condiments and presentation. The chicken and waffles came with plastic smuckers maple syrup. Also wish there were some N/A cocktail or beverage options. Got the fried green tomatoes and those were really good. But It’s unfortunate because it could do so much better as a brunch spot or dinner spot if it classed things up.

What a really cool unique place to eat!! Great food and service. Ate at 2pm on a Thursday. The Hot Brown was outstanding! Really neat place to visit and stay and take in the sites of the neat items in the restaurant. Really cool bar as well!

Such a great atmosphere and staff was friendly. We had the special of the day: bourbon glazed salmon which was yum-O! We also tried the fried banana peppers but they were a bit salty for my taste. The side salad, baked potato and succotash were also delish! Would be great to come again when it’s warmer!

I’ve had a month to think abt my review for Train Depot Restaurant. I decided to EDIT my review! We had a family gathering for lunch at Trackside. Reservations were made in advance bc of size of our party.
Place was very inviting. Nice decor. Outdoor seating available for summertime use. Service was good. Food was ok,.. . Potato skin appetitizer was good. I had the Chicken Salad and banana bread plate with fruit. Would I order again. NO!! I’ve always heard everything on your plate needs to be EDIBILE!! The pineapple slices still contained the outer skin. It is VERY HARD to trim pineapple with a butter knife with food on your plate. Shouldn’t have to use hands for sticky pineapple! Grapes were SOO OLD… they were mush! The grape stems were dried and shriveled up. Banana bread needed 5+ more minutes in oven. My husband had the grilled chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes were served with the potatoes unpeeled. A lot of potato skins n mashed potatoes is NOT appetizing!! No salt on potatoes!! Green beans were excellent. Chicken very bland!! I had bourbon bread pudding for dessert. It was ok. Nice gathering place for a group. Food mediocre!!

What a great spot. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the delicious $6 bourbon cocktails! The food was great, the service was fast and we were lucky enough to see two trains go by! Worth the stop while we were in town.
