The Beach House is a blue oasis bistro with 3 bars and a cushy indoor lounge, with upbeat tunes that will sooth your ears, craft beers served in frosted mugs and Island cocktails that come in 40 oz fishbowls. Our restaurant features mouth watering artisan sandwiches thick enough to tame the most savage of appetites, fresh and healthy salads topped with fruit, nuts and cheeses from the islands and peel and eat shrimp by the pound. All of this sits on the edge of 2 acres of the only beach front you will find in Colorado Springs. You’ll find your new happy place here with IVP at The Beach House!

I was not a fan of the food at all! It tasted bland and idk, just not good. From what I hear the drinks are amazing, so if I visit again I will try those instead. Also, the person that took our order seemed like she did not want to be there and was very annoyed. I understand most ppl don’t want to work, but if you choose to work with ppl you should probably learn to fake a smile. All the other employees that we seen were great. The atmosphere and courts were nice as well.

Love everyone that works the front desk and the refs are awesome as well. Great competition for fun 4s and competitive 4s. I just moved to the area and so happy I found an outdoor place that has decent sand that’s soft so it doesnt hurt to play in. Tournament days are INSANE with tons of teams and you get your money’s worth even if you dont win out you get a ton of games.

Cant wait for March to roll around so the spring league can start up again. Absolutely love it here!

I loved this place. Wow. I have never been to a bar where it was ok not to have shoes on lol. The volleyball courts were amazing. Thanks for the awesome drinks and fun. I haven’t laughed that much in a minute. U gotta check this place out. Even if it is only once.

IVP is a great place to relax and have fun with friends all year long. Phil and Ginger do a great job with volleyball leagues and weekend tournaments! But even beside the competitive volleyball, the atmosphere (food, drinks, cornhole, music, etc.) is always chill that makes for a great time whenever we’re there.

TLDR; don’t host parties here. The manager sucks, but the bartender is really nice!

We hosted a military going away there. Even from the first planning conversation with the manager, she was rude. We should’ve stopped there, but we kept going. When we got there the place was EMPTY. Our whole party wasn’t even there, but she came over to the area we rented and handed us the ball and said your time starts now.

For the volleyball courts they were nice but hot. It was a particularly hot day, so someone in the party asked about spraying the sand. We weren’t informed that this was something we did ourselves (not much of volleyball players). When I finally went up to ask she then informed us they were short staffed so “you do it.” That’s fine, it just would’ve been nice to know instead of wasting time.

When we asked about the room, she said we had to either clear out or be forced to pay another $150. There was only one other group there on the other side of the place, so we were confused because people were still buying food and drinks. We weren’t just wasting space, but okay. So we move outside. I went to go clarify this with her, but she was no where to be found. The bartender was busy and they were the only two people working, so after about 5 min of waiting I walked away.

As we leave I talk to the bartender about where to leave the bar and he said to leave it with the manager up front. I tell him she’s not there so he has to go and find her. She comes out and says that since we didn’t return the ball within the 1 hour limit that she’d have to charge us for two hours. I try telling her that I tried multiple times to come talk to her but she was no where to be found but she wasn’t having it. I told her we left the room when she told us to, but she said we didn’t tell her so there was nothing she could do. She said the best she could do was 1.75 hours for the room. I asked if we could do the one hour room and just the 45 min court. She said no, they came together.

I understand if this place had people around waiting. Even if they had a few more groups around. But it was just us in one spot and the other group under the tent.

The food wasn’t great, but the drinks were really good. The bartender helped when he could and we appreciated that. Definitely not going back there any time soon for a group event.

A little disappointed that their website (and signs posted on site) said they have brunch/fishbowls, but they don’t have them until May; however, the food, drinks and service were pretty good. Can’t wait to come back in May for some brunch, fishbowls and volleyball. Volleyball is $10/day and they have 12 courts. Plus large jenga, cornhole and connect four. All around a unique place for Colorado Springs, from May to September.

This place is just plain, old good fashioned fun! The vibe is absolute perfection and the bartenders not only know how to make a mean margarita, they’re wonderfully kind humans, too!! The courts are taken care of and it’s the perfect place to hangout and have a great time with friends!
