I got the Rueben burger. Fantastic!! Service was fast and they were friendly. The reason I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere is because I smelled like a fry grill when I left but that’s what’s to be expected. I’d call it an old fashioned diner/grill. I’d come back!

Honestly this is one of me and my husbands favorite places to go its great food amazing atmosphere. And everyone is really friendly the food had great flavor to the only thing I must say is they dont give enough fries and there fries are really good even if you get a large its very low on fries though. The food here is made fresh, the service is quick and the employees are kind. This business has a genuine concern about their customers and the food they prepare. As an example, their supplier tried to change the amazing shrimp that they had to some imitation substitute, and after testing the change not even the employees would eat the new shrimp. Rather than passing this terrible change onto the customer and greatly increasing the cost they chose to remove shrimp to protect their customers. This place deserves an opportunity to serve you some great food, amazing atmosphere and a cut above the rest customer service experience. Parking is limited so be sure to get in before the rush.

I went in the morning with 3 of my kids and usually I am stressed bringing all three young ones out by myself but here it was much more inviting and relaxed. The only negatives I have is the toilet wasn’t working right during our visit. The pop tasted odd and the guy that took our order got impatient pretty quick. But the lady that cooked and served us was very welcoming and nice.

I used google to find a place to eat while in town for business. This place was one of the highest rated, and a couple comments stated they had amazing onion rings, so I decided to come try it
I was not disappointed
The menu is on the wall, and there are no descriptions, so outside the standard (burger, cheeseburger, etc.) the other items are up to guess what they are (or I guess you could ask, but that’s no fun)
I was feeling adventurous, and decided to try the “sweet and spicy chicken”, with some onion rings and corn nuggets.
The sandwich was a fried chicken breast with a slice of white cheese on top, and then on the bottom bun was a red sauce, a yellow sauce (maybe nacho cheese?) and jalapeños. I’m still not 100% what all I ate, but it was DELICIOUS. It was as described – slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and very delicious. The onion rings were also as others described, some of the best I ever had. The corn nuggets were just deep fried corn, but it was amazingly delicious. I was very pleased by how good everything was.
According to a sign on the napkin holder, this place has been here since 1955. A man and woman are the only staff (husband and wife I’m guessing). It’s a cute little slice of Americana; a tiny restaurant in what might have once been a drive in. I’m definitely making it my to go place when I’m in town

Some of the best burgers in Southeast Kansas! Don’t forget fried pickles, okra, mushrooms, and green beans. We had a group of 25 and they easily accommodated us when we called ahead. Hamburgers so large my senior boys runners couldn’t even finish them.

Amazing food and amazing customer service. The Club Burger was what I had, and did not disappoint. The fries I recieved were crispy, and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had. The burgers are good enough to reduce a grown man to tears. Highly Recommended.
