We had a 4 hours layover in Houston and we decided to have a real Texas barbecue. We saw this place with good reviews so we decided to try. It is amazing!! The brisket and the pork ribs barbecue is very tender and delicious. Servers are friendly. Most of all, the price is affordable.

Very good chopped beef sandwich! Baked potato was also good. Peach cobbler needs work Fountain drink was also not the best. Carbonation must’ve been off. I will be back for more chopped beef sandwiches!

Food is very mediocre. Mashed potatoes tasted funny. Ask for it to Gold cup. He dumped my tea into the cup, threw more ice on top and handed it back to me. Never try to fill my cup back up. I had to ask him. They charged $3 for drink but our stingy about refills. Really have no idea how this place is still in business..

Great Food, Great flavor! Had the 2 meats combo. Brisket was moist and tender, cooked right. Loved the variety, a little lean & fat/flavor!! Smoked turkey was perfect, tender and smoked well. Plenty of meat in the box!! Really liked the Cajun beans! Potato salad was average. The homemade BBQ sauce is pretty good!! Threw in some pickles and onions! Great, friendly service!

Love this bbq!! The brisket is so soft and delicious. The chicken is moist with a great flavor. The bake potatoes with chopped beef are HUGE. Everything that I have tried is wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was really good. I went about 15 minutes before closing and the staff were very nice and friendly. I ordered ribs, mashed potatoes (was really twice baked potato mashed potatoes), okra, and onion rings. The end cut on the ribs were a little tough but the flavor was good and my husband liked the other ribs. He said the sauce was good. Overall, we will go again!
