Great experience overall with a few standout dishes. The grilled squid was absolutely amazing perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The ceviche leche de tigre was also excellent, fresh and well-balanced. For the main course, the chicken mole had great flavor and tasted authentic, but the cilantro rice was a big miss mushy, sticky, and way too heavy on the cilantro. Definitely not what good cilantro rice should be. The charro beans were just average, nothing memorable. The cocktails were fantastic and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Customer service was amazing; our waiter was on it!! I’d come back for the squid and drinks alone. Solid spot overall.

This was the best dinner we had in Vegas! Everything was great from start to finish. Our server Colton was professional, attentive and easy going. He offered suggestions that were great. I had the scallops and they were the best scallops I’ve had in my LIFE! A little spicy, buttery and melted in your mouth. My other friends had lobster tacos, birria tacos, empanadas and fajitas. We ordered the Mexican street corn, spanish rice and cabbage sides also. Everyone loved their food. They’re specialty cocktails were amazing also. This is a place I’ll have dinner at every time I visit Vegas. The service, atmosphere and food were top notch. Thank you for an amazing last meal in Vegas! Can’t wait to return.

Nice place for family gatherings, the staffs are nice, the foods and the vibe are great. The non-alcoholic drinks taste so good. El Niño tastes more sour than La Niña, my daughter likes La Niña, I prefer El Niño.
The octopus is so tender with unique flavor mixing with the potato. The size of the taco salad is for two, really huge one. We love shrimp tacos and taco de pollo. You may reserve a seat if you don’t want to wait for a long time during the peak hours. Recommend it!

Incredible restaurant located in the cosmopolitan hotel. I must say it was probably the best Mexican food we’ve had in years. The service was awesome and a big shout out to Tammy our server. She was wonderful making selections for entrees and cocktails. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively with the entertainers coming through dancing and doing fire juggling highly recommend this wonderful establishment anytime you’re in Vegas of definite must do

Amaya has a beautiful atmosphere, and the staff provide excellent service. However, while the food looks very appealing and well presented, the taste was honestly disappointing. It was just okay not great. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food, so I expected the flavors to match the price. The $40 burrito was extremely underwhelming in terms of taste, and the octopus was just okay. As for dessert, it looked nice, but there was nothing special about it beyond the presentation.

This was my 3rd time eating here. The 1st 2 times were in the same day. Apps at the bar and then dinner later that night. Those 2 times were excellent. Very high quality. Not so much this time. Far too noisy and quality had gone down. Started off with the empanadas, very good but I couldn’t get over how small they were. I chose the shrimp tacos for dinner, ok but nothing special. Friend got carne asada again nothing special. We also got the street corn. Had to be sent back it was charred and tasted horrible. A fresher sample was brought out to us.

October 2025: My husband and I are at Amaya Modern Mexican restaurant for dinner. I loved the design inside the restaurant along with the beautiful decor. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and fast. Our food was phenomenal!
The guacamole and chips were delicious and not too cilantro and onion heavy. We thought maybe they roasted the onions instead of putting in raw ones. The guacamole had great flavor.
My husband loved the burrito and he liked the fact that the red and green sauce were separated on the burrito, so he could try both.
I loved my carne asada tacos with the side of rice and beans, the meat was tender. I did ask for a side of spicy salsa, which I enjoyed.
We loved our experience so much that we came back the next day to have cocktails at the bar. The spicy margaritas were good!

100% worth it. We went right when they opened and our server was amazing. I think our total bill was like $180 without tip. I highly recommend! I got the lobster tacos and so that was a little pricey so that’s why the bill was more but so so worth it. It’s worth the price. The atmosphere was so cool too. I highly recommend

First time at Amaya. Has reservations for 2. We were seated at a table for 4. We asked for a different table that would be more appropriate for a date night, but were told nothing was available, disappointing. The Boise in the restaurant made it difficult to talk. Ordered the Birria Short Rib, very tender and excellent tasting sauce served with pickled onions and cojita cheese. Generous portion. At $56 with no sides, it is not a great value, but was excellent. Fun place for a small group, but lacks the ambiance for a date night.

YALL!!! Talk about a delicious meal!!! Service was beyond wonderful! Our waitress, Stephanie, was one in a million and just truly over the top! She was helpful and just a fun waitress. But we also had wonderful bus boys and other helpers, Jesse,
Kevin, Gino, and Josh. I would highly recommend the guacamole, fish tacos, and scallops. Everything was delicious but damn, those fish tacos were amazing! The dessert was also delicious. The vibe was also fun! I can’t wait to go back! I would highly recommend! I would also recommend reservations.
