we just moved to the area and i heard of this place on tik tok. as soon as you walk in it smells delicious & it was very clean. the customer service from all 3 ladies we met was amazing. the food was freshly made so it was warm and flavorful with huge portions. we substituted the regular fries for the tandoori fries and it was a great choice. i decided to wait an extra 10 minutes for the grilled chicken and that was also the right decision. 5/5 stars, we will definitely be back!

Nice new halal addition to Albany. Went there with my wife and son. We tried the Crunchy Burger deal — the burger was tasty, and the chicken piece was also great. Loved the tandoori sauce! Will definitely be coming back.

The food here was excellent and extremely well priced. We got the grilled chicken meal and the fried chicken strips along with a side of popcorn chicken and onion rings. Definitely upgrade the fries that come with the meal to the tandoori fries, the seasoning is great. The meals also come with a dinner roll and a side of coleslaw which was delicious and not too wet (which is important for coleslaw). We tried the tandoori sauce and the chillies BBQ sauce as well, and the overall favorite was the tandoori! Everyone there was very kind and let us know up front that the grilled chicken takes about 25 minutes to prepare. It was worth the wait. Highly recommend stopping by to try this place out!

Chicking has some of the best fried chicken in Albany, NY. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, and cooked fresh. The seasoning was spot on and not greasy at all. Fast, friendly service and a clean atmosphere. If you’re looking for quality fried chicken in Albany, Chicking is definitely worth trying. I’ll be back for sure.
