Wow!! I just visited this Deli for the 1st time. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Rueben half sandwich. (I wish I had ordered a whole!) The sandwich was so delicious I almost forgot to take a photo (which is also why the photos don’t look as appetizing-1st 2 pics). We also ordered the Classic pastrami sandwich toasted. The pastrami was so lean, tender and flavorful and toasting it only enhanced the flavor more!! We also enjoyed the potato salad (if you like salads with strong vinegar, then that’s for you). The staff were all very enthusiastic, accommodating and personable. I can’t wait ’til our next visit.

It’s a week later, and we decided to pickup food for the family. Delicious as before!! But this time, we went with the whole sandwiches!! (And I remembered to get photos before we devoured it!-last 4 pics) We had the Smoked Turkey Rueben, the Classic pastrami toasted, the Italian Stallion toasted, and the Cuban (half). So good! So flavorful! The family finished before I could eat half my sandwich! Family highly recommends!!

Me and daughter were looking for a good east coast style sandwich deli and followed the reviews here. The review are correct. My daughter ordered a pastrami on rye and ordered a corned beef and pastrami both with provolone. Let me tell you the meats were tender and plentiful and the cheese and bread were both top notch. No this is no Katz NY deli it half the cost and one of the better Deli sandwiches west of Philadelphia. In the end it came out to a little over $12.00 for the sandwich and considering the quality of the ingredients that’s excellent value. Did I mention the stone ground mustard is to die for will clear your sinuses right up. Don’t question why head down here as fast and often as you can and you won’t leave disappointed or hungry.

Best deli in the quad cities! I have been enjoying meals here for many many years and have never once been disappointed. Smoked turkey pesto and the New Yorker are my go to sandwiches and when I can’t decide I get a half of each for the best of both worlds.

What a fun little deli! Fantastic menu, and variety of sandwiches. Also, you can make your own with tons of options. They also had soups and salads. Everybody was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. There’s a few outdoor seats as well. Really enjoyed our food and will definitely return

We were visiting Davenport for the day, and a friend of ours recommended The Village Corner Deli for lunch. The service was great, all of their employees are so nice and friendly. I ordered the “smoked turkey Rueben” and it was delicious. They put a lot on their sandwiches for toppings. They also offered kids meals which came with a sandwich, drink, chips and cookie. Their food tasted great and they offer very good prices. I would absolutely come back here if I’m visiting the area again!

The food here is amazing! The service just compliments it that much more. Very relaxed atmosphere where they bring your food out to your table and are so accommodating. The ham and bean soup and the broccoli cheese soup are both really good. We have tried probably half the menu on sandwiches and usually pick two so we can try two different at a time. Highly recommend you check out the Cuban! Don’t forget your punch card!

Amazing! I had the half sandwich and a bowl of soup, specifically the mighty meatball with the buffalo chicken wing soup. For the sandwich, you really can’t go wrong with meatballs and it was proven here. I gobbled it up in like 3 bites, maybe 4. What was spectacular was the soup. I pretty much love all things to do with buffalo sauce and this was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I was very tempted to ask for a gallon of it to go, but unfortunately I wasn’t going back to my hotel room. The service was great! It was pretty clear most of the employees knew most of their customers, but for those that didn’t they were very friendly and willing to strike up conversation. I very much want to make this a regular stop when I visit Davenport again.

Walked in and only waited behind one person so it was quick. My sandwich was made quickly as well and was delicious. The menu allows you to pick from a variety of breads, veggies, meats, and condiments!
