The food is delicious, but unfortunately the service and customer attention are not very good. I know that everything has gone up in price, but this is an exaggeration and it’s a bit noisy for me on the weekends.

I stop by this place for late lunch, I ordered lomo saltado, my favorite Peruvian dish. The food was cold! the lomo and rice cold!! The potatoes fries was ok, it looks like they reheated the food because the lomo was hard to chew, not juicy and fresh at all!! So disappointed with this restaurant. I should it figure it out because the restaurant was empty, red flag!! Also, the bathroom dirty and not hand soap!! Do not waste your money, I couldn’t eat what I ordered.

This was one of my favorite Peruvian places to eat in OC but the quality of the taste has gone down. They no longer serve you bread and sauce. On the table it tells you theres a charge you if you ask for it.
Also on their website, it states they have Happy Hour from 3pm to 7pm Daily and will ask you to fill out a form for the coupon for 20% off.
I signed up and when it was time to pay I showed them the text and the server said it’s only Monday to Friday. Maybe the restaurant can change the wording to weekday only or Monday to Friday.
Servers were kind.

Pretty average. Not bad but not awesome either. The dish I got I thought it was pretty simple. The taste was pretty average as well. The prices though are a bit above average. Also there was a NCC charge on my check, which is very strange. I wouldn’t come back there again.

If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food in Orange County, Aires del Peru in Garden Grove is a gem that has been serving the community for over 30 years. Tucked right off the 5 and 22 freeways on Chapman & Haster, this family-owned spot feels like stepping into Peru itself.

We ordered a little bit of everything to share, and it was unforgettable:
– Cebiche mixto (fish & seafood) – super fresh, tangy, and made from scratch. Probably the best ceviche I’ve had outside of Lima.
– Arroz con Mariscos – loaded with perfectly cooked seafood and bold flavors.
– Lomo Saltado – tender beef, flavorful, and a Peruvian classic done right.
– Tallarín Verde – pasta with that vibrant Peruvian pesto, absolutely delicious.
– Anticuchos – the marinade and grill flavor were spot on.
– Bistec a lo pobre – hearty, rich, and comforting.

To drink, we had fresh papaya juice, chicha morada, and mango juice—all refreshing, natural, and sugar-free (a rarity!). We even ordered some to go because they were that good. Of course, they also have Inka Kola and Coca-Cola for the traditionalists.

What really sets Aires del Peru apart is the warm, genuine hospitality. You can tell this is a family-owned place that truly cares about its guests. On weekends, they even host karaoke and live music—something so special and hard to find these days. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience.

Having traveled to Peru years ago, I can honestly say this place captures the authenticity, flavors, and spirit of Peru. Every dish brought me back to my time there.

If you love authentic food, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming vibe, you NEED to try Aires del Peru. Highly recommend for date nights, family gatherings, or just a comforting meal that will make you feel at home.

Truly a 5-star experience—Aires del Peru is a treasure in Garden Grove!

Located in a busy shopping center, however parking was not an issue. Was in the mood for a Peruvian ceviche, so I stopped by. The restaurant is spacious, lots of screens that were showing different soccer games. Service was way below average, it was during lunch time and had one server for the entire place. Waited a while just to get a menu, and then drinks as well. Overall the ceviche was below average. It was way under seasoned and it tasted very bland. Had to ask for more salt, pepper and rocoto. My review is based on solely just the service & ceviche. Not sure I will comeback.

Highly recommended! The Lomo Saltado here is SO flavorful and delicious. It was my first time here and I wasn’t disappointed in the least. You are first provided with two warm bagels, butter, and their spicy green sauce. Aye, aye, aye! Everything was great! This place also seems to offer music and dancing on the weekends. However, they were out of roasted chicken on this day.
