We always get takeout. Oh my goodness though, the flavor profile on these dishes is so layered and complex. It’s incredible. They never disappoint. It’s so difficult to drive home with the food in the passenger seat and not just dive in in the parking lot outside! Thank you Real Taste of India for nourishing us with your incredible creations .

From the moment we stepped into this North Indian gem, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The ambiance is rich with cultural touches that instantly set the tone for an authentic experience. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible teamwork among the staff it’s clear they operate like a well-oiled machine, each employee attentive, respectful, and eager to make your visit memorable. Our server was knowledgeable and offered great recommendations based on our preferences. Dishes came out promptly and piping hot, and every bite was bursting with flavour from the creamy butter chicken to the perfectly spiced dal makhani, everything tasted like it was made with love and tradition. What impressed me most was how seamlessly the team worked together from kitchen staff to servers ensuring every table was looked after without missing a beat. You rarely see that level of coordination and care in service these days. This isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. Whether you’re new to North Indian cuisine or a longtime fan, this restaurant is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be coming back again and again. Dining at Real Taste of India was an unforgettable experience. What makes this place even more special is the small Indian grocery section inside. After our meal, we browsed through shelves of authentic spices, snacks, and ingredients perfect for anyone who wants to bring a bit of India home. It was such a nice surprise and added even more value to our visit.

Hands down the BEST Indian food in town!! We’ve come at least 20 times since they opened and it never disappoints.
A few other Indian restaurants have opened up recently and there’s no comparison. No fancy aesthetic can compete with the authentic flavors and perfection of every dish here. Save yourself time and skip the others. If Real Taste of India weren’t in Bend, we simply would not go out to eat Indian.
The flavors are impeccable, the buffet is phenomenal, best Tikka Masala we have ever had stateside! Sam is always gracious and remembers us by name. We are so grateful for this restaurant and even when budgets are tight and we can’t eat out as often, this is where we choose to come.

Absolutely amazing, great food, great staff, all around fantastic experience.
The staff were very efficient and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the Tawa Masala Chicken and garlic naan, which I HIGHLY recommend if you’re looking for a nice creamy sauce dish. I’ve never really had Indian food and they really gained a customer today. 10/10, they were kind and had loving energy. Makes ya feel welcomed, Plus they’re opened later than some other restaurants

This place is really, really good. You can taste how good the food is immediately! My husband and I were just saying how we wish we had affordable, great Indian food like we did in the Bay Area. Well here it is! Super friendly service. Even has a small grocery store. Both take out and in person dining were great. Go in and prepare to be very pleased with your food and experience.

We are from out of town and were looking for a place to eat lunch. It happened to be that my parents had suggested we try Indian and so I just searched for in Indian food in bend and this was the first location that popped up. I noticed that they had an afternoon close time so I called them to find out what time they were closing as well as what their prices were and if they had their lunch buffet during the week. Most Indian places only have their buffets on weekends. When I was greeted on the phone, it was by a very kind, courteous, respectful person. They answered all my questions and it helped make my Make decision to go there with my family for lunch.
When we drove up I was skeptical since I didn’t realize this was part of the Shiloh inn, but we had already decided to go there and the prices were very reason. When we walked in, we knew that we hit the jackpot. As soon as you open the doors, you can smell authentic Indian cuisine, the smells and spices of India and we knew we chose a good place to eat. When we walked in as we got to the front counter, we were greeted by one of the employees there. He was the employee who had answered the phone. Again. Very kind and respectable. He seated us at a table And let us know that the lunch buffet was open and we were more than welcome to start eating. We got to know a little bit of his background that the business was new and that he was new to the area and we even got to meet the owner of the establishment. His name was Sam. Needless to say, everyone here was top of the line exactly what we wanted. As far as Indian food service. The choices here are awesome. There was at least a dozen different choices for the buffet as well as dessert and the fact that it’s all you can eat naan is amazing.
The atmosphere was very authentic and actually seemed very top of the line considering that it was newer Indian restaurant and again part of a shilo inn hotel kind of restaurant and lounge area, the chairs were comfortable. The tables were nicely set up and again the food speaks for itself. It was simply amazing
Since we are from out of town, I know that the next time we are in Bend. We will definitely be returning here. If you have not tried this food yet, you are missing out and definitely should be trying it.

Honestly, this might be my new favorite restaurant! We were immediately greeted, led to a table, and we picked the buffet. It’s $14.99 per person for lunch which is an AMAZING deal. The food smelled amazing from the parking lot and it tasted even better! The waiters went around checking in regularly and even suggested how to eat some foods. The atmosphere was nice and clean. My husband is very picky and it’s hard to go out with him so it’s great that everything was food he could eat. I can’t stress how good the food was…I’m planning on returning for my birthday

The food tasted good, but it wasn’t quite what was described on the menu. The chili chicken didn’t have the flavor I expected from an Indo-Chinese dish. The chicken tawa masala was also different from what I’ve had before. Additionally, the sweet lassi seemed more like buttermilk/chaas rather than the traditional sweet yogurt drink.

(Buffet review) 10 out of 10. This place is so good! Every time we’ve gone the food has tasted so fresh. The variety is great. There are several dishes to choose from. Vegetarian and with meat. My favorite part of the buffet is the garlic naan. Regular naan is nice, but the garlic is where it’s at!
And they have hot chai, which is a really nice touch. I highly recommend this Indian buffet.
