I had Szechwan peppery chicken combo. It was really tasty. Only thing missing was a cup or soup. Most Chinese restaurants include a cup of soup with a combination dinner. As good as it was I will go to another restaurant that includes soup with it. For the price it would seem like it would be included! Excellent flavor though.

I haven’t eaten here for a very long time. I ordered the honey walnut prawns. There were no walnuts and it tasted like high fructose corn syrup, not honey. Worst honey walnut shrimp I’ve ever had! The sauce was neon yellow, with some green leaves in it.
My friend, a chef, agreed. She wasnt happy with the bam bam noodle…no flavor.

China Delight has been a special place for my mom and I. We had a tradition of going for lunch on weekends as a getaway for her from her home in assisted living. Every time we came through the door, the owner would greet us with a “Welcome Home!” We sat at the same table each time, so it literally felt like home. My mom loved the owner so much because he made her feel special. He would joke with her, make her laugh, and she would always leave with a smile. She loved the food as well! Sweet and sour chicken… Mom passed over the weekend, but the rest of my family and friends will carry that tradition in her honor. Go see them and say “Anita sent me.”

This Chinese restaurant stands out as one of the best in Beaverton. The staff exudes friendliness and the food surpasses typical expectations for a Chinese establishment. Prices are notably reasonable, making it an excellent value. The owner’s warm and welcoming demeanor adds a personal touch to the dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant boasts ample parking and maintains a high standard of cleanliness. While the decor could benefit from some modernization, it does not detract from the overall positive experience. Highly recommend.

My wife and I drive past here at least once a week. We always talk about wanting to go in. So after a year of driving past it, we finally went, and thankfully we were NOT disappointed at all! Everything about our exp here was top level. The staff was friendly, the location was easy and not crowded, the food was AMAZING, and the prices were very reasonable.
When you first walk in, there is almost this kind of walkway, entry tunnel, which is helpful if it was a busy day and you didn’t want to have to wait in the rain. There is a main restaurant area, as well as a lounge/bar. We were greeted by not 1, but 2 people right away. There was no wait, and we were seated right away. They offered us complimentary hot tea, but since it was evening we declined knowing it was a caffeine trip.
My wife and I tried the egg drop soup which was unique here as they also had mushrooms in it, but it only made it more delicious. We each ordered 2 different dinner combinations and were impressed, both by the portion size/price and the great flavor!
The meal was finished when they offered to box our food for us, and we got fortune cookies. Overall, we both enjoyed this, and we know that we will be frequenting here more than once a year .

We’ve loved China Delight for years. The food is always delicious, and Bruce and Lisa truly treat everyone like family. Our son just got home from college and one of his first priorities was grabbing his favorite meal from China Delight. If I could give 10 stars, I would. So lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood!

I ordered egg rolls and the kung pao chicken with rice. the egg rolls were fine. The kung pao did not taste good at all. it was cold and soggy. absolutely no flavor. the rice was alright. i would not come back. nice staff though!

While visiting from another state, we had lunch at this great little spot. Clean, fresh and friendly atmosphere. Excellent service with attention to details. The owners are involved from start to finish.

A friend and I decided that after a workout, we needed a solid meal. After finding this place, we decided to hop in for a ride. We absolutely loved the food. The service was quick and to the point as well. We ordered the General Tso chicken, and it came with fried rice and noodles. I have to say this chicken absolutely was fresh, noodles were cooked just right and have egg in them. Fried rice had plenty of veggies and was very fresh. We also got served with hot tea for free and was given little cups as well for it. Absolutely delicious tea, and we got consistent refills as well.
