The food is delicious and affordable. The pollo guisado is my favorite. You can tell the food is homemade. When I need a comfort meal they are my go to. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the dessert case is always full.

Stopped in here today unexpectedly. I don’t eat meat so options were limited, but the rice and beans with plantains were absolutely delicious. They had a large menu with plenty to choose from, but no fish/seafood. Pork tacos looked really good also, I was told they were perfect. We did not get any desserts but will definitely be back to try some. Our server was very friendly and suggested the sweet plantains – perfect alongside the rice and beans. Highly recommend!!!

I am going to be kind but truthful. Gave a “local” a shot and it did not turn out well. First, the quesadilla’s (beef and chicken) were NOT as pictured. Someone else noted the lack of portion in reviews. The pastellias were GrEaSy. I wish I took pictures of the bag. There was seriously more grease than bag. We were charged but never given (delivery) our dessert. The sour cream for the quesadilla’s was gritty…how?!!! SC is not supposed to be gritty!!! So I ate 1 pastellia, my wife and son ate the quesadilla’s and they were still hungry. My wife (hispanic) ate 1/2 the pastellia and tossed it. She requested I throw everything out which I did. The food came (delivery) and about 90 minutes later I became ill…I wish I took pictures of that mess!!! The total was over $50, I believe I was charged $51 and change. Tip was $5.50. Was this worth $48? We think not.

1st time trying this place and we thought the food was great! I got the gorditas with the sour cream and lettuce on the side because my daughter wanted it without that. It comes with 2! We tried the beef and cheese and the chicken and cheese empanadas and they were fabulous! Will be back!

My boyfriend and I were starving and decided to try a new spot out. We found this Mexican/spanish restaurant on google. So glad we decided to come!!! The tacos were delicious! Awesome quality meat and flavor!!! They did not skimp on the cilantro and onions etc. Service was on point! Don’t hesitate to go to this amazing family run restaurant, as it will not disappoint!!!

Just ordered from there….the empanadas are only $2 because there’s next to NOTHING in them. My partners alcapurria wasn’t all the way cooked. Best thing about our food order was the tostones. The birria tacos were just average as was the chorizo gordita. I will say this the desserts look amazing but haven’t tried them yet.

Potato Ball was pretty good but contained so little ground beef it was negligible. Better to add more ground beef and charge more if nec.
Beef in beef taco was hard to chew, some part inedible.
Ground beef taco works better.
Some restaurants use two tortillas per taco because tortillas are flimsy. Homemade tortillas are the way to go.
Guava cake was good, but would be better mixing Guava puree with cake batter before baking rather than filling too little puree between two layers.
Owner was cordial.

The food was absolutely delicious! The corn tortillas were made from scratch with authentic Mexican flavors. All the ingredients were fresh and made to order. For dessert, I enjoyed tres leches cake. The cake was super moist but not too wet that it crumbled, it was the perfect consistency and texture. I also had a natural squeezed passion fruit juice that was refreshing and satisfying. I will definitely return again and recommend it to anyone looking for good, authentic
Mexican food.

My daughter and I always drove to Bethlehem to get the best authentic Puerto Rican food and now they are right here next to us in Coplay. The pernil ,the rice and beans, and the chicharrones are just as good and now so close !!
