I headed to Carnival Cafe in Rogersville, Tennessee so I could try to break their 30” Long Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich Record Challenge!

Heres the good news
Without question! The Best Cheesesteak I have EVER had.
My wife got the Monster dog plain and it might be the best Frankfurter i have EVER eaten.
The fries were at least Five guys level good.
The Colossal Onion Rings were not the best I’ve ever eaten but they were great!
I’ve had better meals, in LA and New York. For 5x the money.
But i spent less than $50 and guarantee i have never had a better meal in this price Point. And i took home more food than i ate.
The bad news i live in kingsport so now i am going to have to drive 40 minutes to get dinner
Suggestion The fries are great… but you might want to experiment a little with some special recipe seasoning…i would love to see what you come up with. You could make them the best fries anyone has ever eaten to.
And for the onion rings i think they definitely need pizzazz. They are really good but they are so big the batter needs little more pop.
But really if you ignore all of my suggestions you still have the best cafe meal I’ve ever eaten.

At first glance you would drive by this place, but once inside you’re in for a culinary treat. This is not just another burger stand, the high quality and tasty food is imported where necessary to get the full experience of excellent food. For example sausage imported from NY along with the excellent bread rolls to go with it. Other items from Chicago, etc. It’s gong to take a few minutes and it’s all worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the portions, quality that goes into it. You will be pleasantly surprised give out a try.

I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and it was cheesy and mushrooms stacked as big as the burger it was delicious. My husband ordered the volcano burger and he said it was really good. The fries were crispy and perfectly salty 10/10 cant wait to come back for the cheesesteak

This place is an absolute treasure!
They have the best cheese steak anywhere and I’ve been to Philly. The burgers are also amazing. The fries are literally a 10 out of 10.
My wife ordered the Polish sausage and it was fantastic as well. I’ve never seen fried mushrooms that big either, just wonderful!
Great service, great food, big portions and an unbeatable value.
I will be traveling from Florida to come back here as often as possible.
P.s. Don’t skip dessert, fried Oreos, fried honey bun, and even a fried cosmic brownie

The food here is so delicious! We ordered a Philly cheese steak and the chicken cheese steak and split each. They were both great! The sidewinder fries were good as well. It’s a good thing they are only open Tue-Sat or I’d be here way too much! It took a little while to get your food but it was well worth the wait!

The ONLY place we’ve found anywhere around East TN that has ACTUAL chicken steak (not chopped chicken called “steak”). Food was absolutely delicious and staff was so nice and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been wanting a cheesesteak (needed more cheese imo) and it was pretty good. Fries are also acceptable. The onion rings are nothing short of amazing. I tried my mother’s and I will always order them now. It is cold inside – like frigid, so bring a jacket if you eat indoors. Could it be cleaner ? Yes, but it isn’t gross. Are they nice? Yes, but they don’t cater. Is it good? Very good overall. Will I be back? I will likely be back for a burger and onion rings. Try it. You will like it.

Wow the food is delicious! The staff is very friendly! We had the philly cheese steak & a burger with hand cut boardwalk fries and it was unbelievably good! If you’re in the area definitely check them out!
