The Horseshoe Bar & Grill is one of those places that just gets everything right. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and full of great energy.
It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or hanging out for the evening.
The staff is absolutely amazing, friendly, attentive, and they genuinely make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there. Service like that makes such a difference.
And the food? So good. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. It’s the perfect mix of great bar food and quality meals that keep you coming back.

We drove about 30 miles to try this place. It was worth it! Staff is very attentive and personable. The decor is modern country and very inviting. They have some lottery machines but they are not the focal point. The outdoor seating is very nice, both covered and non-covered options. The food…AMAZING! Prices are very reasonable. The owners are super friendly and good to staff! It’s a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip or stop!

Pretty good place. Great service, friendly for sure, clean, food was pretty good. Alcohol was good, and fair priced. Waitresses were great. All were very friendly, easy going, and fun to interact with. One especially took interest to me and my buddies conversation and was super fun to basically hang out with. There was like 3 specials on the menu, at lunch time, on a Wednesday. Great place.

The nachos were $14.95 way over priced considering the beef was super dry and they put bagged cheese over the top that was glue like cheese. There was very little toppings with floured glue cheese. We have eaten there before and all I got to say is there breakfast is all they are good at, lunch dinner notta. Note: they don’t serve breakfast all day.

I haven’t put up a review in a while but I had to after having a meal here! The clam chowder was the best I have had since my mom made it growing up. I ordered the prime rib which melted in my mouth. I love hot stuff but that pure horseradish I request brought tears to my eyes so approach that with caution. To wrap it up this cheesecake with raspberry syrup is so moist and delicious I’m speechless.
All in all if you happen to be in the area or if you’re just driving by be sure to stop by and enjoy a meal here at the Horseshoe bar & grill in Mulin. I know I will be back many many times now that I have had my first taste.

It’s funny to say that I went to a bar and grill for breakfast, but that’s what my mom and I did and it was great. It’s a Western country bar and grill that seems to be pretty popular with the locals. They have great food, the service was wonderful and it was different than most places you dine at for breakfast. There are slot machines in the back corner, a bar the great eating area outside. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for something good to eat.

Here in Portland for work. This place was 2 mins from our site. 4 days and 4 amazing meals. The country fried steak was the highlight for sure! Perfectly charred burgers and can’t forget the Taco pizza. The attentive bubbly bartenders were infectious! Also, try the bloody Mary!

Our service was initially super nice when we sat down for breakfast around 9AM. About 15 min after placing our food order, a table of 6 and a table of 2 walked in. Those tables placed their orders and were almost done eating by the time we got our food at 10AM.
At about 945, after being ignored by our server after attempting eye contact and waving her down over the 40-ish min wait time – I had went up to the bar – since the tables that arrived after us had been served – to politely ask where we were in line with our order. I didn’t get one sentence out until Brandy (who I found out later was the manager) interrupted me and said “Everyone walked in at one time and there’s only one cook, it’s coming!”. She said it so loud my friend could hear her from the table across the room. I was shocked at how rude she was and that she was blaming the cook.
I wonder if our order got accidentally lost? It happens, communication is nice though… We weren’t in a rush – but I didn’t appreciate that behavior from them both. Like teenage girls.. I sat back down and the server and Brandy laughed behind the bar. We wanted to get up and leave at that point – but didn’t. We were hungry. The food was good, but the service was awful. Flies everywhere too. Definitely NOT going back.

Great place for a casual breakfast, they make an amazing Bloody Mary and have good portion sizes. Friendly waitstaff.

I really like the Horseshoe Pub ‘n Grub. Good food. Good atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and courteous. They’ve got an outside deck in the back where you can smoke, drink and have your pets with u (if on a leash). Never too loud or noisy. Only thing I wish they had (they did at one time), is a pool table and a dart board.
