Lulu’s Pizzeria Excelsior, the area’s only pizzeria offering NY, Chicago and Detroit styles under one roof, uses only fresh ingredients, making our sauce and dough daily (never frozen.) Our sausage is made in-house using MN sourced pork, and our toppings are cut fresh daily, and of course, our cheese is from Wisconsin.
We cook are pizzas with the classic stone deck ovens that just keep getting better with time (no conveyor belts here)
Our NY’s are hand-stretched and launched onto a 500+ degree oven and continuously rotated until perfect, our Chicago’s are cooked in old school cast iron, and our Detroit’s are made with authentic Detroit-style pans. Whichever style you choose, you are guaranteed a truly artisan pizza every time.

Saw a new local pizza joint on door dash tonight and so glad i tried it! They had a special on cheese pizza making it economical and delicious. Delivery was fast and still hot when it arrived. They have a nice zesty sauce, cheese is high quality and crust nice and thin but somehow still has a great chewiness about it. We ordered again already and tried the garlic cheese bread. They don’t shy away from flavor so this isn’t for anyone on the fence about garlic, I’m guessing a plus for many. It’s a very hearty app with tons of cheese and a unique tall crust. We tried sausage pizza this time, which tastes house made and is pretty fennel heavy in flavor. Glad to have another pizza option in the area and encourage all to try.

Very good Chicago Pizza, like the kind where you want to eat more but know you already ate too much. Very reasonable pricing. We purchased a six slice Chicago cheese pizza and the garlic bread for $32. The only complaint is that the bread was slightly overcooked, however my toddler ate a lot of it which is high praise.

The best new pizza spot in the area, and our new favorite! Pizza was so good, we got the Classic (Wow)! Delivery on the website is super easy and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try the other pizzas, so glad this came to the area!

I had to go from 5 stars to 1 star. Lulu’s has become very disappointing. Every time I order from them, I order ricotta, and there’s just a tiny dollop of ricotta, if I’m even lucky. Or like this situation, I paid for ricotta that I didn’t even receive. You now have to pay to even have it added as a topping which is ridiculous in itself. The pizza is burnt 9/10 times.
Lulu’s went from being 5 stars to 1 star because they don’t seem to care about the quality of their food nor the fact that people are paying to have their food cooked like people care. But they don’t.

New place, I’ll give er a try.
Tried the Chicago style and this will be my new local go-to for that! Good slightly sweet sauce, inner ‘toppings’ were solid. Good cheese. Crust isn’t “Unos”, but I really liked it. We’ll done!!!
Next try will be their NY style. Nova’s is some tough competition, so we’ll see. I’ll report back!!!

I was doing a delivery and I personally have never been here myself until tonight…..it also won’t be my last time. I arrived and realized that my order that I need to deliver had 4 boxes (customer should only been three), a nice lady (manager or owner??) asked if she could help me (as I probably was looking dumbfounded) and she was so kind and sweet. She informed me that they have new employees tonight and this deep dish was made by accident. She offered to me and I took it…..so glad that I did because this was one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. Very flavorful and based on what the website says, cost is reasonable. I definitely will be back again all because of the very friendly and generous lady. I definitely can have more and more of that pizza. The sauce is really delicious. 10 stars for you guys! Keep up the great work and you just got a new customer from this, plus after eating the pizza, I called my mother so she said she would try it out too. Thank you for the pizza to the nice lady (sorry I didn’t get your name).

Fantastic deep dish pizza! I’m always cautious when trying a new pizza place but I’m so happy that I gave Lulu’s a shot. I ordered online and was informed that my order would be ready at 4:10 PM, I walked in the door at 4:09, just as my pizza was coming out of the oven. The weight of the pizza in the box told the story, this is a packed, deep dish pizza.
Once home, I was thrilled to know that the West Metro now has an authentic deep dish pizza available. The taste was spot-on and the ingredients were very fresh. I’ll be back often for more as Lulu’s knows how to make a great pizza!

I am a person who is not crazy about a boring red sauce pizza. I am so pleased Lulu’s is in the neighborhood. The Mediterranean style pizza with pesto, fresh tomatoes, olives and other veggies is delicious and so fresh tasting. You can see the wonderful pizza ovens and the pizza being freshly baked. The owner is very gracious and her service is wonderful. Give it a try. You won’t regret!

Awesome pizza! Super high quality pepperoni and ingredients. The New York style is great! And we tried the Chicago style deep dish and it was super good! I lived in Chicago for 20 years and this was as good as any deep dish I had there! Try this hidden gem and you will be glad you did!
