Taqueria El Burrito on Combee is hands down the best taco shop in Lakeland. I’m a regular here because they never miss, every single time, my tacos are fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I’m craving.
I always get the steak tacos, and for 6 tacos at $5, you can’t beat the value OR the quality. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and the flavor is consistently on point. No bland, boring tacos here, just authentic, delicious food that keeps me coming back.
If you’re looking for tacos that actually deliver, this is the place. Taqueria El Burrito has earned my loyalty, and I can’t recommend them enough. Support this gemmmmmmm!

Great tacos at the best price around. Just don’t go too late in the evening or they will be out of half of the things you wanted. Still 4 stars because them chorizo tacos are so darn delicious it makes up for them not having what the wife wanted.

After seeing the reviews on this place, I was very excited to try it seeing as it is right around the corner from my house. This unfortunately seems to be a case of you get what you pay for. To start off, this place is in a very sketchy location off of combee road where there are several homeless people that just hang out and ask for money. The tortillas they use are extremely dry and don’t seem to be cooked long enough. The pork and chorizo tacos were practically inedible, they were sitting in a pool of grease, and the meat was extremely tough and chewy. The steak tacos were at least edible, but the meat was very bland and under seasoned, and the steak they use is extremely low quality that most of it is just chewy pieces of meat. The sauce they have is actually pretty decent, but the amount of it that they give for a tray is only enough for two tacos. When I saw that there was a place that still had dollar tacos available I thought it was too good to be true, and that unfortunately seems to be the case.

They normally have the best tacos for some reason I went today. They didn’t put no onions no peppers no cilantro and my tacos were falling apart. I was so upset I love this place but today was very disappointing!

When I found this place on maps I thought the prices in picture was too old but were up to date, everithing is extremely cheap, 6 tacos for 5 dollars, tostadas one dollar, sopes one dollar, tortas and burritos 5 dollars, wow, I said this will be a really skinny tacos, but were really well served with tomatoes, lettuce, cream, cheese, beans and salsa, I really don’t know if they make or loose money selling this
