Just ordered a gluten free bun bacon burger… And oh my goodness I thought I was eating real bread for a moment. While I ate this burger I forgot I was gluten free and forgot I was eating a gluten free burger it was that good. A beautiful juicy thick burger of so much flavor!!! 10 out of 10 the best burger bar in lewis county in my eyes!!! Ever since becoming gluten free it’s hard to find great establishments that serve gluten free buns nowadays. I highly recommend trying this place out!

This place has been around since the 40’s , closed in 2018 and reopened in 2021 under new ownership. It’s odd because it’s in basically a residential neighborhood. I only recently discovered it. Harolds Burger Bar is call in or drive up/walk up. No indoor seating, one outdoor picnic table, other than that they will bring your order out to your vehicle. Nice people, lots of parking.
We had a Swiss mushroom burger and crispy chicken sandwich. All the veggies were fresh. Prices reasonable and make all orders when you order it.
It was a little wait but we enjoyed the food.

They charge for every item separately so if you want a meal you’re over $20. They’d probably make more on volume if they had a meal deal, 10-20 is a false statement. I odered the cluck yeah chicken burger. It was definitely not a quarter pounder. The food is on par with most burger bars. Decent all around.

This is what a burger should be. I tried the monthly burger and it came on a pretzel bun with a beer cheese. It was fantastic. Its far and away the best burger spot in town. I give it a 10/10 in the flavor department. I stopped mid eating to write this review because it was that damn good. I don’t normally review places but I felt compelled to review this spot. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to everyone.

I drove out of my way to get there and arrived by 6:45pm. They were closed on a Friday with the open sign glowing. This isn’t the burger joint’s issue, but I left my house after a long day specifically to go there… Burgerville’s cranberry brie burger was good, but an extra 30 min and 20$ more.

First time eating there tonight and 5 mins post burger eating and I must say that was a darn good burger. I love when I find a great local burger joint that has good food. Fried mushrooms with the tartar sauce was phenomenal. I’m eating the mini churros right now and I’m in heaven. I’m going to recommend this place to everyone that asks where they can get a good burger in this town! I will be back, probably many times!

Dying of starvation I stopped in at this small establishment to nosh on some food.
Parking the car I made my way up to place a order…. double Cheeseburger with onion rings and a soda. The people working there were super nice and got to making my food… bout 10 later…she brought it to the car. I opened it up like a kid on Christmas and proceeded to stuff my face.
Cheeseburger was tasty and those rings were spot on. No complaints from me.
Orange soda was gone now so I left.
All in all it was a good outing on a nice day.

First timer. The burger was delicious and the onion rings were perfect. The waitress came to our car to take our order. We asked if we could get our onion ring double fried and that was no problem. The price was about average and the service was super! Going again forsure

I’ve eaten here since I was about 3 years old when my grandparents would take me. Am in my 30s now and can say the burgers here are still top notch.
It’s a burger bar and not walk in establishment, but that the charm of the place. Great food, friendly staff and a Nostalgic atmosphere in my opinion.

Made an order 3 burgers and 2 fries 1 tot ordered one of the burgers w no sauce or relish as they call it, add mayo. It was actually covered in said sauce. Fries good ,tots good . The young lady who took my order was very pleasant, the cook who accosted my bag of food afterwards was not , apparently she lost a burger and dug through my bag to find it. The wait would have been worth it , had the burgers even compared to other local “drive ins” no seasoning blah taste, literally covered in there sauce making it nasty and soggy to eat . I wished I had a better review, but for $60 you can definitely do better!!!!!!
