First, I wanna start off by saying the aesthetic of the environment of everything in that restaurant is beautiful. My favorite thing was the chairs look at the chairs if you ever go. I took my son here for his fifth birthday and the experience was great. The food was great. I know a lot of people don’t care about the salad and the soup, but that’s was one of the best parts at this hibachi steakhouse that I ever experienced. The chef was very funny had great personality. Great customer service all of the above. I don’t usually do reviews, but this deserved a review I highly recommend anybody who’s looking to go here to go. Don’t second-guess just go. I was so amazed I am writing this review after I left the restaurant.

My wife and our friend tried this place out for the first time today (we are working on trying all our local hibachi places), and we were not disappointed. The food was really good, and our hibachi chef was literally so funny. He also asked about allergens and even if my friend wanted the fat on her steak or not. Probably the best chef we’ve had, and we love our hibachi! Hope to come back again soon:)

We walked in with a party of 8, without reservations. We were seated pretty quickly, and the hostess/server was pleasant and efficient. The chef was pretty uninteresting and didn’t interact much compared to other hibachi restaurants I’ve visited, and the shrimp was overcooked to the point of being rubbery. The decor is pleasant but a little dated, and the prices are higher than expected for what you get. All in all, not a horrible experience but I won’t race back.

This was the second time I’ve been there first time we got in ate everything was fine. The second time we waited for about 25 minutes. Got to looking around The place has ceiling tiles looks like garbage just stacked up everywhere. We got seated waited additional 25 minutes for the Lady that seated us to be completely rude she blew us off after sitting at the table for 25 minutes with nothing to drink. We asked her to come over twice very nicely very respectfully and of course she was very rude telling us to hold on. It took her 20 minutes to come back over and tell us that it was gonna be another 25 minutes. Very poor service. We just got up and left and then the lady tried to start an argument with my Husband because we decided to leave very very poor service

We went to Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse to enjoy a special family time with my out of town family (children, grandchildren) and chose to sit in main room to avoid any scary surprises with my young granddaughters and the Hibachi grills/flames. For the price of the meals we would have expected a nicer atmosphere. The main room seemed to double as a stock room with old parts and supplies lying around. The service was fairly slow and looking at all the junk lying around did not create a special environment. I would not recommend this restaurant as there are other Hibachi restaurants that provide better food, service, and atmosphere.

We had 5:30 reservations. We wanted to sit in the main dining room and order off the regular menu and NOT have the hibachi meals cooked right in front of us. We had tickets to an event after dinner. The hostess said it would be a while before they could get to us in that dining room and we would get served faster if we ate at the hibachi table. So she took us to a hibachi table. We arrived and were seated before the people at the next table but then they put other people at our table. The next table was served first. We got our drinks , soup and salad after a little while but the chef did not come to our table to even start cooking until 6:40, so we had been there 1 hour and 10 minutes already. We left at 7:22 and were late to our event Downtown. When we first arrived, a chef in the other room was incredibly loud in his entertaining, so we could not even hear each other to talk. It seemed like the people at his table were enjoying him though. The food was good and our chef was nice and entertaining though. The floor going in between the 2 rooms was very slippery and everyone in our party noticed it. We will not return due to the incredibly loud atmosphere, the slippery floor and the really long wait for food.

We had a wonderful experience here. The food was great, the service was mostly great, and the pricing was spectacular! We were thrilled with the amount of food we got for the price. $35 for a filet, four large scallops, and 10ish good sized shrimp with the rice and veggies. (There is an up-charge for fried rice. I think $2.50, but it’s labeled in the menu and worth it.)
The food tasted great, done perfectly, and the cook was very entertaining. He read the table very well. (We even saw him working a different table as we finished and left.)
The place was clean (they cleaned immediately) and comfortable. There was a little bit of wait in our seat at the start because we were the second pair of people to arrive. The table set 8, but they went ahead when there were 6 of us, which was plenty of room and still very enjoyable. However, we did get drink orders and menus to work on while we waited a few minutes to see if anyone else came.
We were there on a Wednesday evening in mid-June, so it was not busy, but there were other tables. The hibachi presentation was wonderful and the food was excellent. Portions are hearty. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again.
My only suggestion was for the server gal. I only gave 4 stars for service only because she had a hard time being understood and understanding us. She got one other patron’s order wrong (which the cook fixed promptly when it was discovered) and had a very hard time with another lady who had special requests.

A great place to visit with friends! We all got the combo dinner. Onion soup and salad were so good! All our dinners were great. Exactly what you want in a hibachi restaurant. Portions were huge. Prices are fair. And the servers and cooks are so kind and fun! Happy we stopped in.

I recommend the bourbon chicken. It was my favourite.

Our go-to for Hibachi. Fair prices, great portions & strong drinks. Can’t go wrong with the Sumo. Ordered a Flaming Volcano & found it to have an odd aftertaste. But I added fresh lime juice & it was a little better.
