Wow! First timers tonight, and we were so pleasantly surprised! Started with a gin and tonic (Bombay Sapphire) – perfect. Followed by the special – Filet Mignon with a Demi glacé, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The filet was perfectly done (medium rare), had a nice crust, and the Demi glacé was perfectly done. I’m not sure what they put in their mashed potatoes, but whatever it was, perfection! From the moment we walked in the doors of the beautifully lit space, we felt special. The hostess seated us immediately and brought our water, and then our waitress quickly appeared. The waitress was super friendly and she (sorry we didn’t get her name) was so attentive. She dealt with an “ornery old man” who didn’t like anything she brought, even though she offered to correct it, without a stumble. I would not have put up with his nastiness, but she did so with grace! The food, the ambiance, the prices, and the service, were all top notch. Such a gem in little Moravia! We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends!

Extremely disappointed. Ordered a couple burgers and loaded fries for takeout and ended up waiting twice as long as what was stated on the phone. Finally got our food and both burgers were extremely overcooked, cold, and neither were prepared to order. The loaded fries did not resemble at all what I was told on the phone. It’s like they threw our order ticket out the window. Nothing was correct. Not impressed by the half a handful of fries they threw in either. Burger tasted like pure char, like the grill hadn’t been cleaned all night.
This was not exactly a cheap meal either, considering it’s bar food. Not a good look. Will not be back.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The service was great. Staff is friendly, drinks and food came fast, and was delicious. The place is spotless. Gives high end restaurant vibes. Very affordable. Will definitely be back.

This seems to be a new place, fresh paint and no art on the walls as of yet. However, the cook prepared fish and chips was both huge and tasty. We also had soup and a sandwich combo it was good looking. Sorry, fed better so no pics. The soup was hearty and full of goodness and the sandwich was stacked and when you bite into it your taste buds just go yum.

My husband and I ate here last Saturday night. We are so happy there is a restaurant nearby. But I have to say we were really disappointed with are meal. We both ordered pan seared pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes. What they brought out was a pile high of potatoes in the middle of the plate and a small amount of very dry pork circling the plate. We really want them to succeed, but they need to do better than that. I was really tempted not to pay for the meal

The Chicken Parm was delicious! They hand bread the chicken and it’s delicious! The sauce is delicious too.The French onion soup was AMAZING!! Our waitress was Mel who was friendly and accommodating to anything we needed!!

Great food here tonight! Nice & clean w/welcoming atmosphere. We had the loaded fries & coconut shrimp for apps & they were great! Smash burgers & Countryside cut steaks were very good too, cooked perfectly. We will all go there again. So nice to have a good place so close to home.

Fast, friendly service. Tasty food, large portions, and good prices. Comfortable indoor seating, though no music playing was a little odd because you feel like everyone is listening to your conversation. (The music doesn’t need to be loud) Also the lighting is quite bright — good for reading the menus, but it can feel like you are on display.
Fries are great, and the burgers are quite large. The Reuben and the Turkey sandwich are great if you want to take home half of your sandwich. I wish there were more chicken sandwich options, especially a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Also wraps would be great.
Has outdoor seating and it looks like it’ll have more soon, but the chairs are a bit tight for heavy people. Would be great if they had a nice outdoor garden area with a fire pit.
Overall I’m just excited that Moravia has a nice American-style bar & restaurant with good food and service and I don’t have to drive to the Fargo Grill in Aurora or to Auburn any time I want a good burger.

Went for their first breakfast buffet and definitely plan on returning. The value of the quality and abundance of food on the buffet is definitely several steps up from a diner or national chain. Great friendly service in a nice clean casual atmosphere.

Rowan’s is great! I have recommended it to many people. I have went there a few times now and it has been very worth it both times! The first time I went was the second day they were open and although the wait was long my boyfriend and I were very satisfied with the food! The burgers were great and had amazing flavor. I LOVED the fries they are my favorite I have been craving the fries so much I had to place another order today just to get some more fries! Would definitely recommend. I also appreciate how the owners are taking everything into consideration to make the restaurant better. Can’t wait for it to fully open!!
