Ordered online pickup. We ordered 2 noodle dinners and the meals barely had any noodles. The noodles that were in the meals were tiny little pieces that were broken apart. It was so odd to see. Tried calling to let them know of our dissatisfaction but they would not answer the phone. We spent $70 for a bunch of vegetables. NOT HAPPY at all. Not good to mess around with people’s money when you can’t provide what they ordered!!

My waiter Austin was great and the food was delicious. I forgot my debit card there and when I realized I went back when they opened and Austin was there to open up and return my debit card to me. I greatly appreciate Austin’s customer service and returning my card to me. Thank you again Austin for a great experience.

Open on a Sunday for lunch with my hungry Laotian fam!
Committing to a lady’s day out, once a month, to take my grandma (matriarch of the family), we traveled as far as Advance to eat here. Grandma’s getting skinny and we needed to make sure we were going to find food she’d eat! So we landed on Thai/Lao and thank goodness they were open. The places by us either weren’t open or didn’t have great outdoor seating.
Stumbling in, my aunty immediately starts speaking Lao to the waitress, and alas, she acknowledged! This was very exciting for us and we were immediately able to bond over our preferences and expectations.
My aunt and I had the kowpoon with ground chicken. It was a fairly good portion and tasted very good! I’d probably prefer mine spicier, but the flavor was very satisfying for both of us. I think first-timers might be overwhelmed with the amount of cabbage and veggies that are laired on top, but in my experience, it’s supposed to be eaten this way. Lao people love their veggies and it’s supposed to give the soup a crunchy neutral taste/texture to the curry soup’s richness.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice for my 2 year old who absolutely loved it. The portion was also appropriate. Had we not eaten 3 orders of the dumplings, she probably would have eaten the whole thing!
Speaking of dumplings, they were bomb! I enjoyed that there was a healthy meat-to-wrap ratio and of course, it was very tasty.
Grandma had the Rad Na and had to take hers to go! That gravy was yummy! My cousin had the sushi and the flavor was apparent all the way down to the rice.
Not a ton of things on the menu, but the few things there are done very well. Aunty says we’ll make the drive to eat here again. Threw in a trip to Tanger Outlet to shop/walk it off and called it a great day!

Food is delicious! We had garlic chicken stir fry with rice, spicy drunken noodles and avocado sushi. Noodles tasted good but not that spicy in my opinion. There were flies, which was annoying. Both main dishes that we ordered costs $21 each, which I think are unreasonably pricey. Otherwise, I’d give 5 stars.

This place is fantastic! We did not leave a crumb behind. We did not even get to take food Pic. It was all quickly gone. We mainly had all sushi delicious!

I was just rolling through Eldon and came across Simply Thai and Sushi. I got two sushi rolls that were rolled perfectly, and the miso soup was spot-on. I’ll definitely be going back—not just for the food, but because the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

Too expensive $$$ *** It is the closest a place has come to having Panang Curry that is as good as Simply Asian Thai Restaurant in Asheboro, NC. It is less than half the price of Simply Thai’s version. Very nice decor and very clean. They do care about their place and their food. Don’t know that I will return due to the price. Over $20 for my Curry on a Sunday. Probably will not be disappointed with your meal. The food is excellent!
