I was craving a burger and visiting my friend in town and he recommended this place to me! I’m so glad we went because it was so good!
They inside is pretty big with lots of seating inside and outside. We walked in and there was no line. I had questions about the menu and the women at the register was very helpful and patient while I ordered.
I ordered the earl burger woth one patty combo so it came with waffle fries and a drink. The food took about 10 minutes to be ready, and it was nice and fresh. The burger was seasoned nicely, the pickles were not over powering. The grilled onions added such a nice touch and the lettuce and tomatoes were perfectly crisp. The waffle fries were good too! Nice and hot and plenty of them! Sometime I feel like there is never enough fries when I order waffle fries but I didn’t feel that way here! I did order a side of ranch to dip my fries in and the ranch was okay, not bad, not the best. And the fountain drink is got was on the money! Perfectly carbonated, not too sweet. Just a perfect meal! Just what I needed!
Overall I would recommend EARL to my friends and I would definitely come back to try more on the menu!

This review is really just for the frozen custard. We had a sandwich and fries too which were fine – a little expensive for all you get but good enough. But they told us we’d have to wait 25-30 mins for our sandwich so we had the frozen custard while waiting (of course!) – so good, dense, creamy and worth going for that alone!

Cheesesteak was amazing. Also loved the mango gelati. I’m from NJ and really miss Rita’s Italian ice, so this gelati tastes like home to me. So good!

Overall the food was decent.. However the price was not. I got a “Reuben not on rye” .. which was $17.95 which in my opinion is way too expensive for what you get. My wife got the country chicken and she also felt that it wasn’t worth the price. Each of my kids got a “grilled cheese” which was an expensive mozzarella stick in a sub roll, which I get it.. its a grilled cheese, but it didnt come with any sides. Overall, we spent like $60 here for two adult sandwiches, 4 drinks, 2 kids grilled cheeses.
The ice they have in the soft serve is the “good ice” so I’ll give them points for that. Additionally.. It seemed like there were waaaay too many people in the kitchen and behind the counter getting free drinks and I suspect most of them weren’t actually working there, just friends of the employees.
I probably wont be coming back.. Not because of the food or the service, but mostly because of the cost.

I love their gelati dessert, but the customer service I do not. The store was not busy and I was waiting in line with my dad for at least 5 minutes, while the staff and the cashier was just talking story and on their phone. No greeting when we entered and no apology when taking our order. Gelatis seem quick to make, but the same young guy working in the front continued to talk with his coworkers. Even after making our one gelati, he went back to talking WITH the gelati in his hand when he could have quickly just call out our order name, set it down, and THEN slack on their phones. They do not prioritize customers. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience upset the both of us.

Sandwiches are pretty decent most of the time but fries leave much to be desired. They were rather unseasoned and hollow on the inside. We did a side by side taste test between EARL waffle fries and Chick Fil-A and were disappointed/surprised to say that Chick Fil-A’s were fluffier, more flavorful, and had a better cook on them! I would say the mains were good 2 out of 4 times I’ve eaten here. The other two times, the sandwiches were a bit soggy, even after eating immediately after serving.
If I have a VERY specific craving, I will come here but these are also not the cheapest sandwiches so it does feel a bit like a gamble that I’m not willing to take.

Sandwiches are delicious! We ordered the Cheesesteak & Chicken sandwich! The only disappointment was the Gelati – the Italian ice and frozen custard should be half of each. But the custard was significantly less than the Italian ice.

Food is good, my problem is I have ordered this Gelato ice cream slush thing 3 times now and everytime it has been a different size/amount when they only offer 1 size on the app. First time was a cup maybe 16 or 20 Oz and they filled it to.the cup rim, second time was a bigger cup bu they put a dome lid on it and filled to the top of that (really inconvenient to eat) but I figured maybe they were out of cups. This time was the smaller cup filled the the rim with NO ice crea.. For $7 I expect the first size or it’s not works
