We took a trip into town and for lunch. We agreed to get some Mexican. I googled a restaurant and we chose this one. It was a bit difficult to find it because it was in a hidden spot. There were maybe 1 or 2 vehicles in the parking lot and we were questioning ourselves. As soon as we opened the door, it was a completely different atmosphere. It is open, modern, and the colors pop! We sit. There were a few rips on the seating. But everything looked clean. Service was good but not great. Same with the food. The meat was cooked properly. My son had a hot dog which was way bigger than a normal hotdog. He loved it. Our rice on the other hand was pretty dry and old. After we were done eating, we had to wait a while for our ticket. Everything was just okay. I would eat here again. But not that often.

Ordered arroz con pollo and it was dry. They didn’t put any shells in the bag said they packed it and it clearly isn’t in there. I dont appreciate being called a liar over some damn shells. Then said we didn’t order sour cream. We we clearly did. Thats ok we will go to El Arrios from now on.

Food was okay, service was absolutely terrible!!! The booth felt like we were on a hill, not to mention the booth moved when we were sat down. The customer behind us moved and our booth moved. We only saw the waiter when taking our order and to bring the check. Had to ask another server for drink refills. Terrible service!!!

However, the service, while not bad, doesn’t quite match the stellar food and atmosphere. While the staff is friendly, they can be a bit slow at times. I’ve had to wait a while to get my order taken and to get the check on a couple of occasions. It’s a small issue, but it’s noticeable when everything else is so fantastic.
Overall, Mi Mexico is a restaurant I’d highly recommend. The combination of amazing food and a lively atmosphere makes it a great spot for any occasion. Just be prepared to practice a little patience with the service, and you’ll have a wonderful time.
