The Risotto Alla Marinara was so nice, tasted really fresh with generous amounts of fish.
A must try dish, if you love sea food.
Pepperoni pizza was great ! The crust was crunchy and rustic.

Pleasant and helpful staff, a nice interior, and a beautiful view. Good selection of alcoholic drinks—we enjoyed the Primitivo. Unfortunately, the food is not authentic, which was a bit of a letdown. The tiramisu was tasteless and, surprisingly, lacked its key ingredient, amaretto.

We visited Portsmouth on our road trip to Liverpool. It was a really nice warm night, so we wandered over to the boardwalk to get a bite to eat. We had not had Italian food in a while so we decided to have dinner here. The staff seating us were pretty friendly, so we proceeded to order a bottle of wine while we waited for our meals. I had decided on the risotto with asparagus. Now I am pretty well versed in this dish as I have made it a dozen or more times at home. This was the blandest risotto I had ever had in my entire life. I am not sure what happened but it tasted of almost nothing. The asparagus were tasteless if not non existent there were so few bits, and that hint of (or hard) wine taste was definitely not there. The aboriginal was too underdone as well. I have no idea where the Parmesan and garlic ended up, but it did not end up in my dish. The rest of our meal was ok, but nothing to write home about.
That being said, the ambiance on the boardwalk was lovely and the staff were friendly.

A truly excellent venue without door and indoor seating. The indoor restaurant has a luxurious atmosphere with linen tablecloths, napkins and fresh flowers on the tables. It is however very reasonably priced. The food is excellent, with it seems, a Sicilian twist. The service at lunchtime was very prompt and the dessert menu was innovative as well as delicious.
